Dr. A. D. Beacham, Jr., has distinguished himself as a leader in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC). After graduating from Emmanuel College, the University of Georgia, and Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, he
served in several roles, including pastor of the Franklin Springs (Georgia) Pentecostal Holiness Church, instructor at
Emmanuel College, and now superintendent of the Georgia Conference (IPHC). In 1997, he was elected to the denomination’s General Executive Board.
For many years, Dr. Beacham has been involved in curriculum development, serving as chairman of the Evangelical
Curriculum Commission and writer of Sunday school literature for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), and the Assemblies of God. Other writing accomplishments include A Brief History of the IPHC, as well as contributions to an anthology on the book of Acts, Suddenly From Heaven, by Mark Rutland, and The Complete Bible Library, edited by Ralph Harris and Stanley Horton.
