This is an interesting read, and as long as you’re happy to remember its fiction, then it’s a great story. The book is very descriptive, and the author has obviously worked out the finer details to ensure there were no massive holes in the plot. It would be hard not to feel for Alison (at least in the beginning), and it’s easy to see why she would feel the need for revenge (any girl would be pi**ed being treated like that) though I’ll admit my thoughts towards Rick kept changing as new details were uncovered. I was glad of the twists and turns, and the darker nature of the entire story, as it made for a refreshing change to read. The ending could have been developed further with a much darker twist (i.e. Alison being played), but over all, it worked with the story and fitted with the plot. I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
