Overview

Lilliane loved molding little children’s minds as a kindergarten teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Nashville. But when 2 men came to the school shooting and injuring herself and killing others, she wasn’t sure this is what she could do anymore no matter how much she loved it. When she was healed enough to leave, she was going to have to live with Cain and Alyssa back in Ohio.

Shamus McKee wanted so bad to be a detective. It’s all he had worked for. He was tired of just being a cop. When he was given the case to find out who was responsible for the shooting at the school, he didn’t plan on being reassigned to guard Lilliane even though there was something about her he wanted to get to know better, just not in that way.
