About the Author

Lori Taylor is a Michigan artist and author/illustrator living in Pinckney, MI. As a child she grew up among pines and ponds and was drawn to nature, art, books and storytelling. Today she is a graphic artist and writes and illustrates about her adventures outdoors. She has been an artist-in-residence for the Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore Park and Porcupine Mountain Wilderness Area State Park. Lori has two children and one granddaughter--all of which are artists.
