About the Author

Christy Riches Hinkson is wife to her very cute husband, David and they are the parents of 10 children and the grandparents of 3. She began writing as a teenager and has spent many years writing songs and poetry. She has had nearly 100 songs published and recorded. She has received many awards for her music and service. Now that she feels she has enough experience in life, she is busy writing books on various topics.

Her favorite topics are home and family. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in family living. She was named the Young Mother of the Year for her community and has been named a Utah Merit Mother by the Governer of Utah. She has experienced many facets of motherhood with her 8 biological and her 2 adopted children.

She is also a professional speaker and has lectured all around the world on a variety of topics but probably had the greatest impact lecturing her own children at their kitchen table.
