I loved the book, I think it was her best one yet. I was up till 3 am reading I couldn`t put it down, only reason I did as I had to get up in a couple hours. It is a fast moving story that keeps you captured from page one. I love the series and know you will too. Six year old Ben is the sole survivor of a mass shooting and the only witness. Texas ranger Taylor Blackburn protects Ben and his aunt Sierra. Is there a little romance in the picture??

This is a Lone Star Justice Series, but Lone Star Christmas Witness is a stand a lone read. A young boy is the star witness to a mass murder at a medical clinic. Texas Ranger Taylor has his hands full on this one. Can he keep little Ben and his aunt safe? The author has weaved suspense and heartwarming story that will touch your heart. There are twist, turns, and action around Christmas time. I was on the edge of my seat trying to read faster to see what was going to happen next. I felt sorry for little Ben , and at times I had tears in my eyes and holding my breath . Will Texas Ranger Taylor find the answers to who and why is behind this mass murders? I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Lone Star Christmas Witness by Margaret Daley is the fifth book in her Lone Star Justice series by Love Inspired Suspense. Six-year-old Ben Markham is the sole survivor of a mass shooting and the only witness. Now, Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn must protect little Ben and his aunt, Sierra Walker. With Christmas right around the corner can Taylor keep them all safe so they can celebrate the holidays together? This story was very fast-paced and sweet, even though at times it was predictable. I still enjoyed it. The love shown little Ben by his aunt was very sweet and enduring. I liked getting to know Taylor and sharing in his past heartaches. I would definitely recommend this book. I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Lone Star Christmas Witness (Lone Star Justice) by Margaret Daley Author Margaret Daley has written a fantastic Christmas Suspense novel. I give Long Star Christmas Witness, five stars. It is a suburb Christmas book full of action. The characters are well thought out and engaging. This book is full of suspense, action at every turn and has kept me at the edge of my seat. Once I picked it up, I could not put it down until the last page was read. It was a quick read. Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn is given the job to keep little Ben and his Aunt Sierra safe after he is the only witness to a mass shooting. Christmas is looking bleak as their lives are turned upside down. But the Christmas spirit is strong and family and friends are united. This has been my all time favorite Christmas book this year.

This story is "ripped from the headlines"! The first chapter grabs you and saddens you immensely but at the same time you HAVE to read it! It's a mass shooting at a doctor's office and the only one left alive is a little boy who has hidden himself where the shooter didn't see him. From there, the book doesn't slow down! Taylor Blackburn is the Texas Ranger who arrives on scene. The little boy, Ben, is so sweet but he sees him mother gunned down in front of him and that makes him stop speaking. Through the whole book he doesn't speak and my heart was totally broken for him! His aunt, Serena, becomes his guardian and she is grieving just as much as Ben. This story was so gut-wrenching to me. I couldn't read it fast enough! With so many mass shootings in the news, we rarely hear about the people that are witnesses or those left behind or the law enforcement that have to work the case. This book deals with all those people and it was great! I found it fascinating. I readily recommend it. I received this book from the author but wasn't required to review it. These thoughts and opinions are my own.

Author Margaret Daley has crafted a story that fits in with current events happening throughout our nation. The scene opens with a mass shooting at a medical clinic. Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn must safeguard the sole survivor and witness, seven-year-old Ben Markham. Ben’s aunt, Sierra Walker, has helped raise him. So, now that his mother, Sierra’s sister, is one of the victims, Sierra will be his sole caretaker. As Ranger Blackburn works tirelessly to piece the puzzle together, will he be able to protect Ben from the perpetrator and his heart from Sierra? This author has a unique way of spinning a suspenseful thriller. Just when you think you know how the story turns out, you realize you got it wrong. Sprinkled throughout the pages is a thread of forgiveness and hope. Author Margaret Daley writes exciting romantic suspense. Don’t miss this one! I received a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions are my own.

What can a seven-year-old boy who is the lone survivor of a mass shooting do to help the police and Texas Rangers find the mass murderer? Unless they can help him feel completely safe again, the likelihood of any help coming from him is miniscule. But what else do they have to go on? Unlike many mass shootings in recent years when the shooter strolls in and starts firing randomly, this person apparently has intentionally targeted the doctors and staff of a medical practice and methodically guns them down, intending to leave no survivors. Fortunately for her and the little boy, Sierra, the office manager, had an appointment with their accountant and was out of the office. She works with the Texas Rangers to try to identify anyone who would have had a vendetta against the clinic. The little boy is her nephew and his mother was one of the victims. You have probably heard of someone being “scared speechless”. That’s exactly what happened to young Ben. As much as they need to know what he may have seen, they wonder if he will ever speak again. In the meantime, Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn who has suffered great losses of his own is drawn to Ben and Sierra. At the top of his priority list is keeping them safe. The book is a quick read packed with action, suspense, love, and faith. I received a copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
