About the Author

Kathryn Kurth Scudder authored Everyday Prayers and More; Prayer Thoughts for Every Day; and Prayers, People and Places. Her books reflect on information from the Holy Bible, Christianity, and her experiences in life. Kathryn holds degrees from Hope College (Holland MI) and Wayne State University (Detroit MI). She retired from teaching and then took on the responsibilities of an administrative church secretary. She enjoys taking classes, volunteering for her church and at a local hospital. Kathryns husband, Kenneth, passed away in 1993. They raised four children and now have nine grandchildren.
