They purchase a Russian helicopter from a shady weapon dealer and return in a daring flight operation back to the desert to take possession of the hidden gold. But the Russian Mafia gets wind of the operation and wants a piece of the action. In a low altitude flight and the six tons of gold aboard, escaping the watchful US radar at Adana,Turkey, Rachel reaches the mountains of Cappadocia in Turkey. Cappadocia is famous for its huge ancient underground cities were thousand years ago people used to live to escape invasions by foreign powers and prosecution for being Christians. Rachel sinks the helicopter through a gigantic crater into such an underground city. There an eighteen-wheeler waits to taker over the cargo. Soon they are hunted by their own government. It is a ferocious life-and-death struggle and a merciless hunt. Reaching the shores of the Mediterranean Sea they escape across the sea with the help of a private eye from Singapore. But at sea they are confronted with the masters of intrigues and undercover. And they knew from the beginning that the treasure would come their way. The suspense thriller reflects an atmosphere of violence and undercover action with a surprising twist against the background of an incident by the end of World War II. Russia, Iraq, Arizona, Turkey and the distance of the Mediterranean Sea are the places of the action.
