About the Author

Arnold Koelpin (1931-2017) was a 1958 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He served a a pastor in Wisconsin until 1962 when he began teaching at Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. A prolific writer and frequent guest lecturer, Koelpin was a recognized authority on the life and writings fo Martin Luther. After his retirement he was appointed to serve as New Ulm's mayor.
