Overview

Love*Com, Volume 1 by Aya Nakahara

Risa Koizumi is the tallest girl in class, and the last thing she wants is the humiliation of standing next to Atsushi Otoni, the shortest guy. Fate and the whole school have other ideas, and the two find themselves cast as the unwilling stars of a bizarre romantic comedy duo. Rather than bow to the inevitable, Risa and Atsushi join forces to pursue their true objects of affection. But in the quest for love, will their budding friendship become something more complex?

I saw the movie before reading the books which was a HUGE mistake but either way the books are great and super funny. I got really attached to all of the fun characters and had lot of fun reading this. I highly recommend it. OTANI AND RISA 4LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

Finally got around to reading this after seeing the live action movie and a bit of the anime. This was freaking adorable, especially the banter between Otani and Risa. Curious as to how long it'll take for them to finally realize that there meant for each other, what with being 100 percent compatible and all. Also love the art style. Heard its compared to another manga series We Were There. Like it better here. As for the cover however, at first I thought it was a guy for some reason. It looks okay but the story and main two leads are really good. A series I will definitely be reading more from.

This series is AWESOME, and it is completely unpredictable, hilarious, and complex, especially later in the series when some unexpected twists are thrown into the complicated relationship between Koizumi and Otani. It is one of my favorite manga series and I would definitely recommend it.

This book was SO disapointing! It went too fast, and I could barley get what was going on! I saw the book, and read the back and thought it would be good, but it was so not! Try not to waste your money unless the book sounds REALLY good.
