Twice Upon a Time
Since her father's untimely death, Felicity Halliday has relied on the medical knowledge learned at his side to treat London's most disreputable in order to support her family. Life has been hard, but everything changes the night she is snatched from an alley behind a theatre, tossed into a nobleman's carriage, and receives an offer she cannot afford to refuse.

When Julian Beckford's foolish cousin decides to engage an actress to play his betrothed over the holidays, he becomes an unwilling party to the lady's abduction. Along their journey to Yorkshire, Julian makes a stunning discovery about his cousin's pretend fiancee and finds he has a second chance at love.

One Less Lonely Earl
Colin MacBride, Earl of Blackwood, is well aware that only a fool would answer the Duke of Danby's summons. But with many mouths to feed, poor fields, and a failing flock that might not survive winter, he sets aside a decades' old feud with his neighbor and calls on him to make a proposition. If Blackwood sheep are allowed to winter on the duke's land, Colin will share the profits when they are sheared in the spring.

Naturally, the duke has a better idea, and it involves a lovely young lady who is dear to his heart. Colin can use the land if he agrees to hire Meredith Halliday to be his nieces' governess, then convince her to quit before the man the duke has chosen to marry her arrives in Yorkshire. Oh, and if Colin would flirt with her a bit to build her confidence, that would be splendid, indeed. Appalled to be labeled a Lothario for hire, Colin storms from the study and straight into the old curmudgeon's trap—and she is every bit as beautiful and charming as promised.

Three Little Words
Disheartened but not defeated, Gavin MacBride temporarily abandon's plans for restoring the family coffers to escort his sister-in-law's long-lost relative to Yorkshire for a reunion. Gavin might have failed to secure funds to ensure his family's future prosperity, but surely, he can deliver a young woman to Danby Castle in one piece.

Heiress Victoria Eastland isn't making his job easy, though, especially when she sets off for Yorkshire alone. With no carriages for hire at the local coaching inn, Gavin is resigned to give chase on horseback in inclement weather, but a Good Samaritan takes pity on Gavin and invites him to share his coach. Soon, the newfound friends are led on a merry chase that ends with a bold rescue and an unexpected discovery. The outspoken, foolishly brave Miss Eastland has been under Gavin's nose the whole time—and a little too close when one is unprepared to lose his heart.
