About the Author

Iris Rosio Melendez is author and illustrator of the wonderful new children's book series, Lovely Bunnies, also available in spanish as Lindos Conejitos. She grew up living in California and in Mexico. As a teenager she spent much of her spare time volunteering in the community and in the local elementary school in Tequila, Jalisco helping teach English as a second language. She has always enjoyed working with children and has been a very active, hands on mother of four. Lovely Bunnies was created as a gift for her youngest daughter Abigail, based on the bedtime stories she had created for her. This series is filled with vivid and humorous pictures, life lessons, friendships, and lots of family love.
