Happy Town was the flattest, most boring town on Earth. There were no hills and valleys, and it was too quiet. They had no visitors. One day there came news that a giant rock from space was going to crash on Happy Town. People panicked and started packing to leave. Lovlee was sad, but he had a telescope pal, Huggy, who lived on another planet, who told him not to worry. Lovlee wondered what Huggy would do to help save the town. Was there a way?

About the Author

Jaya started writing stories and poems for young adults about 20 years ago. He then tried writing children’s picture books during the Covid-19 lockdown, March 2020. His first book, Fru Fools Greedy Hoo! was accepted for publication in October 2020. This motivated him to write more. Lovlee and Huggy Save Happy Town! was soon completed and what fired him towards early completion of this work was his love of giants from previous stories.
