About the Author

Marian Grudko is a storyteller and composer whose musical tales include Lucinda Snowdrop, Dragonfly Bog, and Harriet: The Story of a Praying Mantis. All of Marian's compositions include music for dance. In addition to her original stories with music, she has written scores for three Beatrix Potter tales. Her storytelling performance of "A Beatrix Potter Afternoon" at The Actor's Institute in New York City was an Editor's Pick in TimeOut NY magazine. Marian lives in the Hudson Valley of New York. Magdalene Carson is an illustrator and musician from New York City. She plays banjo with Spirit Family Reunion, with whom she spent many years touring, driving around the country in old vans.
