If you're looking for a hot and steamy friends to lovers menage story, you've found the right book! From page 1 the sex is right there, and continues throughout. What makes this one different than others of the genre is Charlotte Stein's unique voice and ability to approach the situation in a sometimes comical, sometimes shocking and always entertaining light. The story starts with Maisie having a sudden quick and dirty encounter with her two best friends Brandon and Tyler, an event that results in Maisie abandoning their friendship for ten years from the shock of it all, but never being able to get them or what happened out of their mind. As young adults, she wasn't sure how they could ever recover their friendship, but now that they are older and hopefully wiser, she's willing to look into what could be something better than she ever imagined. The interesting parts of this story were the dynamics of the three involved. They all take turns at being in charge and being submissive, though Brandon is the one who appears most submissive of the three, willing to take orders from Tyler or Maisie. He enjoys the cuckolding fetish and Maisie and Tyler are equally turned on by this. Lots of dirty sex is the trademark, but there are deeper emotions at play here as the three of them work towards recapturing their friendship and giving a committed threesome a real chance. Hot, steamy and fascinating. 4 stars.

I hate that the blurb about this book compared it to Fifty Shades; it is like comparing a Batman Forever to the Dark Knight Rises. Fifty shades has the typical strong, rich, silent male hero and the shy, virginal, no clue how beatiful she is heroine. Don't get me wrong-I loved Fifty Shades; but the characters were in no way real in any sense of the term. Stein's characters are so very human in their neouroses and insecurities that I can put myself in the middle of the story in a way that's just impossible in the Fifty Shades world. Man on man kink is not my thing; but it is my thing for this story. At the root it is a story of three people in love who can't show it. I found myself cheering for each of the characters and so wrapped up in the story that I forgot my inhibitions. Stein continues to push the boundaries of erotica in ways no other author today dares. She's not only making the sex dirtier (and better!); she's making the characters three dimensional and human.

If you are not a fan of man on man action then dont read this. Strange phrasing and really weird characters too. Not a fan of this. I have to delete it.

I noticed that others' ratings has this book up to 4 stars. It's all about personal choices I guess, and I have a hard time liking characters that are emotional messes. I like my heroes strong, and in this book there are 2 characters that are just jumbled up. I came close to not finishing the book because these 2 characters annoyed me. I did finish it though, and can say that it ends pretty good.

Wow not even an intro, it just gets right into the good stuff. Not a bad book at all.
