About the Author

Dan Binks is the wizard crew chief behind years of success, primarily with Pratt & Miller, racing the Intrepid GTP car and the factory Corvettes. For many years before that, Dan was Tom Kendall's crew chief at Roush Racing, later Greg Biffle's car chief in NASCAR trucks.
Norm DeWitt is a motorsport and aviation journalist/photographer/author, whose work has been published worldwide. Formerly he was a driver in D Production and GT-3, taking many SCCA National wins and track records. A licensed Architect, his engineering and race car fabrication background has proven useful in understanding the design and engineering side of racing. He has been friends with Dan Binks for over 35 years, since they both started by racing Autocross in their native San Diego, California.
