5 Star Review of Man Candy (Billionaire Bachelors # 4) by Lila Monroe   No one is more shocked that Olivia Chambers when she agrees to her office manager and right hand woman Alice Jones assisting their latest client private investigator Nick Chambers on an undercover assignment. Nick needs a fake fiancee and he wants Alice for the job. Alice is tired of sitting behind a desk and is eager to take the assignment and is desperate to show Olivia that she can handle the job. The chemistry between Nick and Alice is off the charts and the line between reality and make believe soon blurs. Can their relationship based on pretence morph into something real? Or will danger and intrigue pull these two apart? This book was so good that I really didn’t want to put it down. I loved this book from start to finish; it was a fabulous read, full of great moments that really brought a smile to my face. In my opinion this series keeps getting better and better. One click now, you won’t be disappointed.

Man Candy is book 4 in the Billionaire Bachelors Series by Lila Monroe and I have to say this series just keeps getting better with each book this very talented author brings out. Alice Jones might love bring the office manager but deep down she has always wanted to try her hand at being out on assignment with one of her firms clients and she is just about to get her chance by becoming the fake fiancée of billionaire PI Nick who is looking into chocolate espionage. What starts out as a fake relationship turns into so much more can Alice and Nick go back to a professional relationship once boundaries have been crossed..... This book has it all, it’s funny, it’s got a few twists and turns, it’s mysterious and it has characters that you can’t help falling in love with. I loved the sizzling chemistry and the banter between Alice and Nick and I highly recommend this funny romance that left me smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Looking forward to hopefully more in this series of stand-alone billionaires

Man Candy by Lila Monroe is the fourth book in her quirky Billionaire Bachelors series. The story of the Olivia's assistant, Alice, and the fulfillment of her Bond Girl dreams when she signs up to be the fake fiancée of Private Investigator Nick Chambers. Alice may be the perfect secretary/assistant at Olivia's elite matchmaking business but she has dreams that involve so much more than sitting behind her desk for the remainder of her life. When the opportunity to play fake fiancée comes up she jumps at the chance. Nick needs a cover and for that he needs a girl from Olivia's service. Alice may not seem like the perfect sidekick for his upcoming investigative role but after an excursion or two Nick starts to wonder how he ever did this without her. Quirky, funny, steamy and romantic and also with a brief introduction to secondary characters that are the forefront of a new spin-off series, Chick Flick CLub . I absolutely loved this! Enjoy!

What a delightfully fun story! I laughed, I swooned and laughed some more! The authors humour knows no bounds and the characters are so much fun to read about!! I really liked Alice and Nick alot! Their story has a few antics and I certainly hoped Alice would get her HEA! But not everything is as it seems and when Nick accuses her of being untruthful, needless to say Alice isn’t happy at all! Can we really trust those who we once consider a friend?? Nick is a PI and enlists Alice as his fake fiancee to help with his case! Oh boy they have some interesting moments and I came to really like these two! This book was wonderful and a pleasure to read!

OM freaking God!!! Lila Monroe delivers again. Spies and candy, who’d have thunk it, lol Lila isn’t called the Queen of Rom/Coms for nothing and Man Candy proves it without a doubt. This was a seriously addictive and hot tale of a pretend relationship becoming real. Nick Cameron is a PI who needs help with a big case and comes to The Agency in search of a fake fiancee. Alice has been happy been working her at office manager job, but recently she’s been feeling antsy and in need of a change. When the man she met in a bar the previous night ends up as her boss, Olivia’s client, she jumps at the chance to work undercover with him. Undercover, not under the covers which is what her dirty mind wants. Alice soon finds herself in San Francisco as a billionaire’s fiancee and meeting a chocolate magnate. She’s in heaven. Chocolate heaven. Plus there’s the extra hot hottie sharing her living space.. And heating up her nights, if only in her imagination. Nick is used to working alone, he likes it that way and isn’t used to sharing. But this case is different and when Alice becomes indispensable, he finds the lines between their professional and private relationship blurring. From hot as sin encounters in a tiny closet to baring all outdoors, these two almost melted my kindle. The story of espionage and chocolate was just so seductively funny that I wanted to eat it all up. Everything about this story was just simply delicious, from sexy, sultry Nick and quiet, shy but with a hidden femme fatale side Alice. Throw in some hot detective work, sneaking around and playing at love this book had a the warm fuzzy feels. If you want a light-hearted, melt in your mouth read this summer, then this is the one for you. Just watch out for the candy. LOL

Once again, Lila Monroe gives us bachelors that are beyond yummy and amazing, and woman that are smart and witty and equally as amazing. They get together to do a job and solve a major problem and end up being perfect together, both professionally and personally. The charm and wit just makes you fall under their spell, cheering them on and keeping your fingers crossed that they meet their happy ending. I love Lila’s writing, the legit laugh out loud moments, and the steamy chemistry between them. I love this book, this series, this author. Jump on this book and this series as soon as you can. You won’t be sorry

Man Candy is the 4th book in the Billionaire Bachelors series, and it just might be my favorite one to-date!! When it comes to romcoms, no one knocks it out of the park like Lila Monroe! An attention-grabbing and original storyline coupled with charismatic and lovable characters, and sprinkle in a little bit of mystery and James Bond, you’ll be reading this book in one sitting. Alice and Nick were irresistible and perfectly matched characters. Their chemistry and attraction to each other was combustible, which made their working relationship that much more complicated. Their unconventional relationship was a joy to read! Alice comes across as a demure, hardworking, and independent woman. But when paired with Nick, her feistiness and quick wit showcases her true intelligence and ambitions. And goodness gracious…Nick is a melt-in-your-mouth, swoony hunk of deliciousness! I need to just stop right here when talking about him because I could go on for hours. Literally….I could get on him, err…I mean go on about him for a VERY long time. Man Candy is a fun, hilarious, and 100% entertaining must read. Flirty and romantic, with thought-provoking plot twists, this book is the perfect summer time page-turner! 5 Stars!

This is the fourth installment of the Billionaire Bachelor series that is centered on Olivia Chambers’ agency that provides appropriate companions to the rich and famous. Need a fake fiancé to get the family off your back? Need a girlfriend to convince the boss you are stable? The Agency can help you out. One strict rule is no hanky-panky. This installment centers around Alice, Olivia’s indispensable assistant. Alice wants to get out from behind her desk and into the field. In walks Nick Cameron, a wealthy PI that needs to have a fake fiancé to investigate corporate espionage in the candy industry. Alice jumps at the chance. While investigating, both Nick and Alice fight their attraction, but eventually give into temptation. Lila Monroe delivers another fun, light RomCom. This book is like your favorite chocolate truffle, you know exactly what you are getting but it is enjoyable nonetheless. I was given an ARC of this book by the author for my honest review.

3.5 stars Man Candy is the fourth standalone novella in Lila Monroe’s Billionaire Bachelors Series.  The one common thread through the series is that the featured billionaire needs a fake date for some event.  True to form, Ms. Monroe’s Man Candy is a very fun romantic comedy with relatable characters and comedic hijinks. I adore The Agency’s highly efficient Girl Friday, Alice Jones. She is the featured heroine in Man Candy.  She is intelligent and sexy in a good-girl, librarian way.  However, on the inside, she wants more—more romance, more adventure, and more meaning in her work.  The hero in the book, and in his own mine, is Nick Cameron.  He is handsome and suave, and being a private investigator, ticks off all the boxes in Alice’s Bond-girl fantasies.  However, his background turns up nil, and by that, I mean nothing, nada—as in the guy doesn’t exist. Nick Cameron being an enigma in the background check didn’t work for me.  The premise of The Agency is that it is high class and they do thorough background checks.  For me, taking him as a client given the series premise and that it seemed he was using a fake persona, didn’t work.   That said, I loved Nick and Alice’s chemistry, and the spy shenanigans were fun.  Lainey, Nick’s ex-girlfriend and current client, is a delicious antagonist and foil for Nick and Alice.  The lightweight plot gets a bit more real as the story reaches its climax as trade secrets, corporate espionage and sabotage threaten to melt someone’s chocolate dreams. Man Candy was not my favorite in this series, but I still enjoy this fun, enjoyable escape read.

I'm really enjoying this series! Being the office manager to Olivia and her "date for hire--no sex" company has its perks. Being in contact with hot rich guys on a regular basis. Laying the groundwork for Olivia's many assignments has been great, but Alice is looking for something more. She wants to step out of the office and be on the fun side of the assignments. When the opportunity presents itself, Alice may be in a bit over her head...but she won't let that stop her. Nick is a private investigator, and his current assignment necessitates the use of a companion. When Nick asks specifically for Alice, Olivia's hesitant. Knowing some of her assignments have ended up with HEAs, she's not sure Alice can manage that fine line between professional and not-so-professional. When she convinces Olivia she can do the job, Alice is beyond excited. And being in close quarters with Nick isn't a hardship...until it is. Like the other books in this series, there's quite a bit of heat, and quite a few laughs. All the characters are noteworthy, and I find myself hoping some of them will get their own story. This story gives you lots of happy feels. And there's candy--lots of it!
