Book 1 The Boss

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author, Lexy Timms, comes a billionaire romance that'll make you swoon and fall in love all over again.

Jamie Connors has given up on finding a man. Despite being smart, pretty, and just slightly overweight, she's a magnet for the kind of guys that don't stay around.

Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be fine with it if her sister wasn't pressuring her to lose weight so she'll fit in the maid of honor dress, her mother would get off her case and her ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.

Determined to step out on her own, she accepts a PA position from billionaire Alex Reid. The job includes an apartment on his property and gets her out of living in her parent's basement.

Jamie has to balance her life and somehow figure out how to manage her billionaire boss, without falling in love with him.

Book 2  The Boss Too

Jamie Connors has decided a job is more important than a boyfriend. She's landed an awesome position working as billionaire Alex Reid's personal PA. It is not meant to be a job with benefits and yet she finds herself in Alex' bed. Despite being smart, pretty, and slightly overweight, she doesn't believe she's attractive enough for a man like Alex.

Trying to manage work and put as much time into her sister's wedding, Jamie finds herself trying to please everyone. Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be fine if her sister wasn't so bossy, if her mother would stop nagging and her awful ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.

Jamie has to learn to love herself again, speak up for herself and have the confidence to go after what she wants. She also needs to prove to Alex that she's perfect for her job and for his bed.

Book 3 Who's the Boss Now

How close can you get to the fire and not get burned?

Landing the dream job, working and dating her incredibly hot boss and at the same time gaining the confidence she never had, Jamie doesn't think live could get any better.

She's helping to manage a multi-billion dollar company. Her family issues seemed to be resolved and even though she and Alex have to figure out the wrinkles, it looks like they'll be able to be professional at work and romantic after.

Except perfect isn't quite exactly how Jamie imagined it would be.

I wish i hadn't started reading this series, I stopped at 5. All the books are over 3 dollars and are all under 150 pages. Its like paying for chapters of a novel. A really expensive novel. The story line started out really good but slowly became whiney and hard to get through. Save you money and buy a complete novel!

I don't understand how anyone could give this 5 stars. Truly hideous female character: whiner, NO self-esteem and obnoxious. I can only get to page 50, just can not justify wasting any more time on this drek. An editor would have been a huge asset. Also, it is "aloud," not "allowed."

A good read, even knowing that there were more books in the series I was surprised at the ending of book three. The back and forth in emotions was hard to identify with for me but overall I liked these books. I wish that all the books were in box sets.

Did the author even read these books over? There are so many errors, it was hard to follow the story. Also, the time line makes no sense. The characters were unlikable.

I thought this was going to be a series based on the title, but it was really just one long book without an ending. The story and characters were ok. The lack of editing was really distracting though. The author has trouble with homophones (allowed in place of aloud was particularly bothersome) and it made it difficult to focus on the story. Overall, I'd say pass on this one.

Genuinely a good trio, a low-key lame end to 344 pages. But I can only "watch" two people break up and get back together so many times. A bit of eye rolling in that third book in my part. TL;DR: a good waste of time, won't be getting any more of the series.

These are not stand-alone novels; they are all more like incomplete chapters in the same book. Although the author insists they are a "love story" and not erotica, there are many very smutty and detailed sex scenes in which very dirty words are used. Throughout all of the books, the F word is used repeatedly - and gratuitously. There is a plot, but it's thin and lacks substance. None of the characters are fleshed out, and the story (particularly regarding the actions of Jamie's family) does not ring in the least bit true. Jamie (the main character) seems almost willfully stupid, whiny, unaware and self-indulgent - not someone for whom any reader could have an ounce of empathy. (She constantly thinks about getting a "backbone" but never actually does so.) Often details - even within the same sentence or paragraph! - are inconsistent. And, adding insult to indignity, there are COUNTLESS jarring grammatical, vocabulary, spelling and syntax errors that grossly detract from the story. Sadly, NOT a good read - don't waste your reading time... and I would CERTAINLY *NOT* recommend this book for teens or young adults... not only because of the cavalier use of filthy language, but mostly because the main character is in NO way an even halfway-decent role model for a young person.

I honestly started the first book and was angry at how Jamie is treated by her family...but then BAM hello Alex...I love everything about these books and I love that they aren't just a trashy sex book they are actual books with a storyline and love! Can't wait to finish them!

Cliffhangers again. Three episodes in the lives of Alex and Jamie with more before there's realy an ending. While the characters can be likable, their vocabulary includes far too many f*cks. No matter what the topic this vulgarity is used and it quickly becomes wearisome. For two reasonably intelligent people it's a pity they lack an adult's ability to express themselves. Add the need for strong editing to correct wrong words usage and it's a huge mess. Alex can't decide whether he wants Jamie in his personal life or not. They have sex and he tells her it can't happen again, but it does. He's jealous of every man she speaks to and treats her to his tantrums when she does. Jamie claims that she loves him all while putting up with his dreadful behavior making her seem like a doormat. She's his PA and very efficient, but whenever he wants sex she's goes to him then feels betrayed that he won't commit to a relationship. She has other men interested in her, but she can't move beyond her unrequited love for Alex. She could have a comitment from another man so the question is why she stays with Alex. The answer seems to be the hot sex. Not enough to make a relationship work for long.

This series has the idea of a decent story, but each "book" is more like the draft of a chapter rather than an actual novel. The editing is very poor, little continuity, and story doesn't seem to be well thought out. C'mon, a privet island with a Hotel? Free is the right price.

Definite cat and mouse game. I strongly agree with a couple of folks where one made a comment about the three books are basically one story. Another comment made which I agree, the storyline lacked strength, very passive. The characters did have "potty mouths!" I felt that the intimate moments were written with more passion, pardon the pun, than the storyline itself! Yes, this should have been one book and enough with the breaking up and making up already!
