Their task was to ascertain the sustainability of life on remote planets and found earth to be acceptable to their needs therefore the planet was earmarked for colonization. The construction of a number of sophisticated time portals were completed for future use, they were designed to test the inhabitant’s ability to handle advanced technology. However, the project was shelved due to suitable specimens being unavailable. In 2011 Mining Engineer, Austin Jones, is trapped underground after a series of earthquakes devastates much of Northern Australia. He discovers a portal in an ancient chamber that takes him to an uncertain future. Global Warming is at its extreme and anarchy reigns supreme. Jones knows he must return through the time portal and convince the world that global warming is very real and the survival of the planet could well rely on his success. Although he has time on his side, time is running out for the fulfillment of the Mayan Prophecy.
