Overview

What I didn't know at the time, was the Memphis Police had it out for this guy. They had been tracking him, watching him and bidding their time to get to him. They were out to get Mark Giannini, it was only a matter of time. This I learned shortly after the trial, from a ranking Memphis Police Officer, said to a group of people in his kitchen, during a holiday dinner. More about this after reviewing "what I didn't know".
What I didn't know was a great deal, and had a profound impact on the information/evidence given to the jury.
I didn't know the accused, and I didn't know the supposed victim. Several on the jury did and had harsh preconceived verdicts, the bottom line, "they had to get him on something"
