Overview

I don't think anyone grows up thinking that they're going to be a "part of" something like this in their life. I don't think that most people think they will hear of something like this existing.

The "it" is MGTOW.

I'm thankful that it did. It gives ANSWERS. Not a cult, just answers and understanding to move forward with. MGTOW is about returning to that equilibrium. MGTOW entered my life when I didn't know the answers.

I didn't know why I was losing control of myself and what I thought regulated relationships in particular. Before, I thought I knew the blueprint. I thought I was observing all of the things that I would later learn to be hypergamy, sexual marketplace value, gynocentrism and gaslighting.

When I was going through situations that later served as examples of these terms, I thought I was witnessing examples of these things, but I had nobody to talk to. If I did, I probably would be told to suck it up and that I did something wrong. In a way, it would be societal gaslighting.

I didn't have the answers to my observations, and I certainly couldn't get them validated. Soon I'd find that the MGTOW community and its content creators were the soundboard.

I've always felt that the act of putting on a hoodie was a way for me to focus and to maintain my own thoughts, zone and identity as I went through my day. If it was a hoodie morning as I used to say during college, it was a day to focus. It was a day to go my own way.

As sunrisehoodie this is a place for red pills to be consumed and for men to find insight to go their own way. MGTOW is growing and will continue to do so, and while I may be a small fish in a big pond, I want to emphasize the importance for MGTOW men and those curious about MGTOW to be analytical and informed.

We are all putting on our own hoodies, as a way to find focus and listen to the truths about life that society often tries to drown out.

I encourage open discussion amongst one another. Do so respectfully and in light of the fact that while MGTOW is growing, we are still the minority.
