A secret society. Vampires. Supernaturals. And love. It's my world, and I have to save it, but not from the monsters.

Abigail Rose's life was as predictable as the tides rising and falling, until Wes Hunter returned to Sandpoint. Then, the impossible became possible, the predictable became unpredictable, and those monsters became more than friends.

Wes would do anything to keep Abigail safe, and Abigail would leave everything behind to save everyone she loves. Here is the tale of a suspenseful romance, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality.

Worth taking the time to read. It had a bit of a diff story line than expected and I enjoyed the fact that it had a more complex plot than a lot of books seem to have. It's nice to read a book that has a somewhat original story line

Does anyone think the author over dramatized everything a little too much? The protagonists are always crying or feeling nauseous about the revelations that happen. I feel like if it was a bit more realistic in the reactions this book would be much better. I was disappointed because the storyline is interesting in the changes from the too common twilight theme these days, but with how ever other page someone was crying or devastated, it quickly lost my interest and I didn’t finish reading the book.

I can't wait to read the outcome of these many complex relationships. People I though I would not like have been endeared to me. I can think of several different possible outcomes. Can't wait to read the rest of the story.

I really enjoyed this. It was such a page-turner. In some ways it reminded me of Twilight but better and more exciting. I will definitely be buying the sequels.BTW, I'm Team Elijah all the way!

A wonderful read. A paranormal romance filled with action and heartbreak and secrets, with few typos or grammatical errors (I'm not saying they're non-existent, but they're few). I really enjoyed finding a book that was longer than 200 pages and not just full of filler. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Oh, and I loved the sarcasm and wittiness written in these pages, well done.

I loved it

At times, the story gets confusing. Someone would ask a question and then they'd be in a different location. It was almost as if the transitioning sentences were edited out or we needed a break to a new paragraph. Intrigued but too frustrated to continue the series.

The last third of the book is the only part of the book that should have been published. The beginning is pedantic and unimportant, that whole section could have been a well edited few chapters and the last section developed in to more enjoyable story. However seems like the story line is borrowed from other successful series authors and lacks any originality. I don’t write books, I’m sure I don’t know what creating a novel entails, however I read voraciously and I was very disappointed. The mom is really the only well done character

It was clear that the author struggled to find a suitable writing style during the opening of the story. But 20 pages in, the words started to come together and made the story compelling leaving you wanting more. Highly recommend.

This book has it all, romance, mystery, and excitement! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Abigail Rose and look forward to her next story of how she gets out of her current situation.

Your opinions of a few characters will change as the story progresses Okay.. at 76%, I was WoW at the curves, swerves, and loopty-loos that Ms. Hart took me on! Even at 95%, things weren't all tied together yet!! Well done!! So... when is the next book? I mean, she ended things perfectly, however, there are still some things that need to be revealed. I loved all of the switching around, from hate to love and like to hate, haha! I really disliked one of the characters, then I became tolerable of them, then, actually liked them maybe a little. ;) Yet, who knows, that could change yet again. Yes, this ended in a cliffhanger, but not a extremely bothersome one.I don't mind a cliffhanger, when it is done the way that Ms. Hart did it.
