Entangled in a delusion of desires, a gambler, a mercenary and a warlord try to harness a seasoned woman as their possession. But she is an American woman, a Jersey girl who is not about to become any man’s captured butterfly. But... and yes, there are always “buts” which have entangled her within their mirage of truth. Now only a poker game can determine her fate because the cards have no memory. The group comes together in a New Jersey casino bring with them unquestionable wealth, indomitable power, alluring beauty as well as the memories of past lies and transgressions. They are broken shells on the Atlantic City beach, fractured and resigned that what they will be has already been determined.
