Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. and vacationing at the shore occasionally as a child, she marveled at the simplicity of its lifestyle. Marrying and moving to the shore with her first child, she immediately had "sand in her shoes." After her second child was born, it was to obvious this was where her family needed to be.
