Overview

This fully illustrated and colorful children's book will help your child learn the value of money by following the two main characters, Jacob and Emily. From doing chores around the house, to saving birthday money, there are many ways for a child to earn money. Children will be reminded though that they will not get paid for everything they do, as they do have a role in the family household and responsibilities for which they should not get paid.
Once they earned money, children will learn about the concept of the three jars and how to Save their money, Give their money and Spend their money responsibly. An educational and fun tool to provide basic financial concepts at an early age. This book would be a great fit for kids from age 5 to 9.
A great tool for teachers (great feedback from those who used it), financial advisors and parents!

About the Author

I was born and raised in Paris, France and moved to the United States in January 2000. It's been quite an adjustment but I don't regret anything. Although I miss my family tremendeously as well as irreplacable French food, I can comfortably say today that I am an American and love my country of adoption. A country where your dream can come true if you put forth the effort and don't give up.
My one-year old boy, my husband and my full-time job administering pension plans keep me very busy and happy.
