New York's a great town, but a funny thing happened on my way to the museum – I got chased by a street gang (punk bullies), made a boyfriend, got dumped, and fell through a portal into a parallel universe.
Then things got weird.
It turned out the people of this other world (I call it Magicland) had been expecting someone – a savior who would exterminate the monsters that had been roaming the countryside destroying everything in their path. Unfortunately, I showed up instead. Things got a little dicey when the mad High Priest (pompous bully) tried to have me executed.
It wasn't all bad, though. I did meet Adin, a hunky young soldier who made my heart do a tap dance every time I saw him. He whisked me away and we began a journey to find a powerful wizard who might be able to end the scourge and get me back to NYC.
Along the way I learned about magic, went skinny dipping, flew on a giant bird, did some kissing, and battled a slightly deranged sorceress (crazy bully).
I also fell in love.
