About the Author

Dr. Cooper has served as an Adjunct Professor of History since 2015. He was
nominated for the Instructional Excellence Award in both 2019 and 2020 and
consistently earns top teaching evaluations at two universities. Since 2009, he
has also taught high school courses in History, Psychology, and Government, and
has held leadership roles, including serving as an Assistant Principal.
Prior to his career in education, Dr. Cooper successfully owned and operated a
computer business for a decade, earning high marks in both sales and customer
service. He also worked as a corporate trainer and district manager for a Fortune
500 company in the Midwest.
His research interests include the societal influence of social media and the
broader impact of technological history. He also writes extensively on U.S.
history, often exploring the overlooked, unusual, and everyday aspects of the
American experience.
