Dr. Patricia Powell Johnson is a devoted Christian mother and a lifelong educator who grew up in a foster home in Shreveport, LA. She is currently employed as an associate professor at Grambling State University. She is married to Rickey E. Johnson and together they have five children, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
