About the Author

Michaela (novel) is an author, licensed minister and spoken word artist that lends her voice of raw truth to reach the broken hearted that will probably never set foot in a church. Having overcome childhood abuse, and pornography addiction, she uses her books as self therapy that she hopes will be used as an instrument of healing in the lives of other survivors. Michaela’s desire is to bring life to the stories of the broken, then bring hope to their hurt. That hope is in Jesus Christ. Michaela was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio but currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with her Pomeranian, Solomon, and her Chug (half Pug and half Chihuahua) Rocco.

Victoria (bible study) is a wife, mother, trainer, counselor and founder of Damsels-Fly, LLC. Born in “The City of Justice”, Shelby, Mississippi, she now resides in the state for “lovers” Williamsburg, VA with her love. Victoria is a Certified Depression Specialist, with over 6 years of experience working with women and children. She received her Master’s Degree in counseling in 2009, and is working toward her Doctorate degree in Mental Health Policies and Practice. Victoria works with individuals from a strength based, practical and affirming perspective that is grounded in her love for Christ and people. Her desire is to see people, especially women, thrive in their relationships and rise above circumstances that would otherwise break them
