I hooked up with my temporary roommate. Now I'll do anything to claim her for good.

I'm Noah Weston. For a decade, I've quarterbacked America's most iconic football team and plowed my way through women. Now I'm transitioning from star player to retired jock—with a cloud of allegation hanging over my head. So I'm escaping to the private ocean-front paradise I bought for peace and quiet. What I get instead is stubborn, snarky, wild, lights-my-blood-on-fire Harlow Reed. Since she just left a relationship in a hugely viral way, she should be the last woman I'm seen with.

On second thought, we can help each other...

I need a steady, supportive "girlfriend" for the court of public opinion, not entanglements. Harlow is merely looking for nonstop sweaty sex and screaming orgasms that wring pleasure from her oh-so-luscious body. Three months—that's how long it should take for us both to scratch this itch and leave our respective scandals behind. But the more I know this woman, the less I can picture my life without her. And when I'm forced to choose, I'll realize I don't merely want her in my bed or need her for a ruse. I more than love her enough to do whatever it takes to make her mine for good.

Two words: Amazing and HOT Shayla Black has done it again! Noah and Harlow story is about how 2 people who connect at first sight. Both of them have issues, how they deal with them is amazing. This is more than a love story, it's a story about courage and trust. Once I started reading this book I could not put it down.

I more than LOVED this book! I already loved this series and this is another great book in the More Than Words Series! Again, I love that the whole book is from Noah's point of view. I was not sure how it would work since in the previous two books the Reed brothers were the main points of view so we knew more about the family dynamic. But is was awesome to read this story from Noahs point of view as he tried to figure Harlow out. Noah and Harlow have a beautiful and angsty love story. They both must overcome issues to find their lasting love. This book as all the things! Steamy romance, just enough angst, humor and a couple of awesome twists! I would recommend reading the first two books in the series to really enjoy this book. But this book with have you feeling all the emotions and sad when you turn the last page!

More Than Love You By: Shayla Black ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review by Kristie K Another sinfully decadent treat from the Queen herself, More Than Love You hits you in all the right places… The incredible Shayla Black tantalizes with the third installment in her More Than Words series with More Than Love You. Another peek into the lives of the Reed siblings, but this time focusing on Harlow, Ms. Black transports you back into their world…and gives another glimpse into the damage done by their past. Ms. Black has never disappointed me, and this is definitely no exception. She takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride with twists, turns, and unexpected drops. There is never a dull moment as the characters navigate their new world, each battling their own demons while exploring new and unexpected feelings for one another. With her incredible talent for weaving an unforgettable tale, Ms. Black brings to life a stunning plot and storyline. Unforgettable characters that you can relate to, sympathize and connect with make this yet another must read from one of my all time favorite authors. Ms. Black manages to bring together the perfect combination of romance, angst, suspense, passion, love, and family in her books…and she demonstrates it perfectly with More Than Love You. A definite touchdown for me, Ms. Black! Kristie K

Hands down this is my favorite of the series so far! This is the third book in the series, however, the books can be read as standalones. They do have overlapping characters, Harlow’s brothers and their significant others, from book one (Maxon Reed) and two (Griffin Reed). I really enjoyed them. They are definitely worth the read! Holy hotness with Harlow and Noah and their smoking hot chemistry! I adore Noah. He is so patient with Harlow. She has a lot of issues and he is there for her every step of the way. He has a way to smooth the way, even when she gets skittish, he goes with the flow and doesn’t necessarily give in but allows Harlow some room to work things out herself. Harlow is a riot. She is outspoken, sexy, funny, brilliant and a real challenge for Noah. She is hiding something from Noah and her brothers. She has kept this secret for years and it is hurting her emotionally and has her doubting her ability to have a relationship. This is where I tell you I don’t want to get into anything about the book as it’s better for the reader to go in cold and ride the roller coaster of emotion that is Harlow and Noah’s love affair. My heart hurt for Harlow and her brothers as more of their past is revealed. Noah is an island boy and his family is there to support him and Harlow. Noah has his own hurdles to tackle (no pun intended) before he makes a decision about what he plans to do with his opportunities that were offered now that he is retired. I loved that the story was told in Noah’s POV and even though this is a longish book, it is fast paced, and I didn’t feel any drag or lag. The story flowed well and kept me hooked. The story and the characters are so well written and that made me invested in them and the story. I highly recommend this sexy, sweet, and emotional love story that is Harlow and Noah.

I don't want to give away the plot but I have to discuss a part in the beginning story. The guy buys a house and the female character is house sitting. Somehow within hours they are having sex and he is acting like there is something so she special. There was no build up or true chemistry between them. I quit reading it at page 100 so the story could have improved but at that point I did not care.

Great love story and great way to show differences in what can happen to someone who has had to deal with concussions.

Who knew escaping to paradise would mean finding love? New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Shayla Black’s More Than Love You is the third book in the More Than Words series and is quite honestly my favorite so far. I do recommend reading the first two books beforehand to understand the Reed family dynamic and get to know the characters that make appearances. Scandal has both Noah Weston and Harlow Reed hiding out at a private ocean-front property. Neither is looking for a relationship, but they decide to use their passion and attraction to present themselves as a supportive and loving couple until the scandals pass over. But what happens when the ruse is over, and they realize it more? This book has the roles reversed. The male character is usually the one shying away from love, but not Noah. No once he realizes what he feels, he then makes it his mission to convince Harlow that she feels the same. But he has a hard road ahead of him with that. Harlow’s outlook on love has been destroyed. She has built the walls surrounding her heart high. But if anyone can break them down or find a way over them its Noah. I love the inclusion of Harlow’s brothers Maxon and Griff and their wives into the story. It was like visiting family and catching up a bit. Shayla has written another fully captivating book within this series. As always, I loved it and I cannot wait to see what she gives me next. Five Scandalous stars!!!

Great addition to the series….steamy with all the feels Noah Weston, a retired NFL quarterback, stumbles upon Harlow poolside on the property he just bought. Though Harlow is mildly aware of his celebrity status, she’s not much impressed with football or Noah. Until he takes his shirt off. All those rippling muscles get her attention, and Noah’s pleased she’s interested. There’s instant lust and lots of electricity between these two. Harlow Reed spots all the subtle signs Noah’s exhibiting with his speech, especially when he’s exhausted or nervous. There are certain things Noah needs to keep secret until he can move further in the next phase of his career as a sports commentator. Working on her Masters in Speech, she knows all too well the difficulties patients with traumatic head injuries struggle with. The help Harlow offers would benefit both her and Noah. As they spend time together he can’t get enough of the feisty, quick-witted woman. Slowly Noah breaks down the walls Harlow’s built around her heart from a past hurt. I love how Noah has so much patience making his so irresistible. Ms. Black gives us a well-written, erotic romance with plenty of steamy scenes, drama, and love. I like seeing Harlow’s brothers who were featured in the previous books of More Than Words series. I loved Harlow and Noah’s story and it was a delightful pleasure. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This is the third book in the series and although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the two previous books in the series to have a better understanding of the characters. Harlow is in hiding from her past and is housesitting, for her brother, until the new owner arrives. Noah is the superstar football player who has just retired and encounters Harlow when he arrives at his new house. Instead of leaving immediately, Harlow is taken by Noah and the two make an agreement that will benefit them both in more ways than one. Shayla Black is a wizard with words painting a vivid portrait of a woman who has had her share of disappointments and learning to come to grips with her past and how to trust. I highly recommend this story and series. I volunteered to read an arc of this book.

More Than Love You by Shayla Black is book three in her More Than Words series. It can be read as a standalone. Characters from previous books do make appearances though. The series itself centers on the Reed siblings: Maxon, Griffin, and Harlow. This book stars the youngest, Harlow. Noah Weston, a quarterback for ten years, has retired after his last football injury. Needing time to lay low after his injury has left him with moments where he is unable to speak during times of stress and fatigue, he has moved to Hawaii to evaluate his future. Having bought his dream house, he is completely surprised when he arrives early to see the woman from his fantasies lounging by the pool. Harlow Reed has been housesitting the estate her brothers' just sold for the last month and is surprised when the gorgeous owner arrives early. Instant attraction sparks between them but before things can go further, Harlow notices Noah's speech predicament. Soon she finds herself offering her services as a speech therapist to help him prepare for his interview as a sports commentator. Her new role in Noah's life doesn't stop their attraction though. Instead it gives them both the opportunity to learn more about each other and what follows is a hot and emotional romance filled with drama especially when Harlow's past comes to light, the Reed parents, and a few more surprises that keep the story on its toes. More Than Love You is a well-written and evenly paced romance novel with complex characters who pull at your heartstrings. This is the first book I read in the series, but after reading about Harlow and her brothers pasts, it makes me want to read the previous books so I can see how Maxon and Griffin got their happy endings too. Noah and Harlow are great leading characters with great chemistry. I love how Noah is all-in with his relationship and feelings for Harlow from the start. He's willing to do what he can to help Harlow when she needs him. He also doesn't give up on Harlow and their love when she starts to pull away because of her past. I love that. Overall, More Than Love You by Shayla Black is a romantic and enjoyable novel. I happily recommend. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

Noah and Harlow are captivating. Both show an extremely tough exterior and have a confidence about them but they each have weathered some storms putting doubt into their lives and the direction each is headed. Their initial meeting is wonderful as Noah finds Harlow enjoying his pool after having just purchased a new house. There is a connection between them and as they get to know each other, it seems Harlow, as a speech therapist, can help Noah with a problem. Harlow needs to hide from the world after a most interesting wedding debacle. Noah has the room and since he needs her help, his house is the logical place. Of course, can these two keep their hands off each other. The sex is intense, totally Alpha male and delicious to devour. Add in crazy family drama for Harlow to provide intense drama. Her parents are utterly shocking. A beautiful journey that shows people do enter your life when you truly need them most.

Shayla Black is one author that I know when I open up to the first page, I will be swept away by the words and imagery of the world she creates. More Than Love You proved to be another novel that fits that expectation. We've had hints of Harlow in the first two books in the More Than Words series, but she finally gets her own time. She has no idea when she meets sexy Noah Weston that her entire life will be upended and swept off her feet. Noah is trying to escape a problem he knows he has as a result of playing pro football for decades, Harlow is a sexy vixen that puts the icing on his cake. It's a one night stand that starts as a way to forget the day to day stresses that turns into a mind blowing romance. “I don’t want anything from you. I simply want all of you.” Noah is my newest book boyfriend, nope ladies, he's mine. I'll share a bit as you read through these pages, but he's mine.

Hot! Hot! Hot! So very sexy! More Than Love you by Shayla Black is an emotional and spicey love story that requires tissues at times and ice water other times. This is book #3 in the More Than Words series and I suggest reading the first two books in the series to better understand Harlow's background and family. I loved reading the love story of Harlow Reed and Noah Weston, retired famous football player, especially having the story told mostly from Noah's point of view. I love Noah's character and how loving he is. He tries very hard to gain Harlow's trust. Harlow is a tough nut to crack and has built very high walls around her heart. Reading how Noah tears down Harlow's walls was a very enjoyable experience. Shayla Black is a fantastic author and a "must-buy" for me

This is the first book of Shayla’s I’ve read that wasn’t BDSM themed, and it was AMAZING!!! The emotions between these characters had me in tears and drew me in from the start. Harlow’s story had my heart breaking. I can’t imagine going through what she has been through, and not be as emotionally unattached like she was. Her support system was phenomenal through it though. Noah was perfect for her. While he had his own demons he was dealing with, he knew Harlow was unlike any other woman he’d been with, and he refused to give up on her. There were twists and turns throughout this story, and a few of the characters had me wishing this book would turn in to a romantic suspense read with them being murdered grrr!!! But Shayla handled the situation and did one better than murdering them. A phenomenal must read, that will have you wanting more of this series!!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review. This is the third book in the More than Words series and I think you need read the others first so you will know what is going on with Harlow's brothers to understand more about their horrible parents. You see a little of Harlow in the brother's stories and a little about her life but this really sheds light on why she is the way she is. Noah Weston is a retired football player and being the famous quarterback, he wants to be a sports announcer. Moving back to his roots, an ocean-front view is what he needs for a little peace and quiet. When he arrives at his new home, there is a sexy woman in a tiny red bikini that fulfills all his fantasies. What he realizes just by talking to this woman is not just beautiful, she is smart, funny, stubborn, determined, wild and doesn't trust easily. Harlow Reed is house sitting until the football star takes over his house. When he shows up early, she doesn't know how to handle the attraction she feels for him. After he has one of his episodes, he mentions they both could help each other. She stays, helps him and they continue to have incredible sex. Harlow is all for that as long as he doesn't fall for her. She doesn't believe in love and that is all because of her sleaze-ball parents. Can Noah show Harlow that falling in love isn't that hard part? Will Harlow be able to tell Noah about her past? Can they make a future together? Will Noah be able to take the announcers job? I loved this story and Harlow and Noah were the perfect couple. They were funny, had the faults and fears and in the end, their story was great. I wanted to reach in and beat her parents with a 2x4 several times, are their real people like that? Anyway, a perfect story and I hope Evan will get his story and an HEA. **Wicked Reads Review Team**

This is my favorite story in the More Than Words series. Noah and Harlow's story held me completely spellbound the whole way through. I didn't want to put it down. I loved that the majority of the story was told from Noah's point of view. He was so patient and fell so fast and so hard for Harlow. I loved watching him try to get her to open up to him. He was so scared to lose her and had nothing but patience for her to come around and truly see him for the guy that he was. Harlow is perhaps one of the most damaged women I've read lately. Her family has done such a number on her that she can't see the point to love and relationships. I loved watching Noah enlist Harlow's family to help her get past things and the things that Noah does for Harlow left me speechless. This was a terrific read in this series and my favorite. I fell hard for Noah!

Noah has just retired from pro football due to some residual effects from the last concussion he received. He's not ready to leave football but he's not sure he can accept the commentary job with the issues he is having. Harlow found out her fiance was cheating on her with his assistant and has a baby on the way. She breaks off her wedding in the most epic way and needs to hide out for a bit. Noah comes home to his new house he just bought to find a stunning woman sunbathing poolside and finds out she is the house sitter. There is instant chemistry between the two and while Noah sweet talks Harlow into staying the night, he realizes one night isn't going to be enough. This book was such a treat for me. It had all my wishlist items. My favorite thing to read is where the Hero chases the heroine. I just don't see that enough in romance books. For once, the heroine was the one that was hesitant to commit. While Noah is dealing with his speech issues, Harlow is dealing with some major trust issues that date far back. There is some push/pull in this story due to Harlow's lack of trust. I do think she pushes a bit too much, but I don't even care because it just showed how much Noah loved and wanted Harlow in his life. This was just what I was looking for!

This is book three in the More Than Words Series, and this time features Griff and Maxim’s little sister Harlow. As her brothers are Real Estate Agents and need someone to house sit. So after her aborted marriage to Simon this is an ideal situation. So there she is sunbathing in her tiny red bikini when in walks a large handsome sexy man who happens to be newly retired super bowl championship NFL player Noah Western. Noah arrives at his new home early and thinks it’s a mirage as he sees his perfect woman. This is how our lovebirds Noah and Harlow meet and its instant lust. This is one hot romance, with lots going on in background to derail it. I loved Noah, he is a great guy with plenty of patience, and as far as Harlow and her doubts are concerned. All though this part of More Than Words Series each book is a complete story. Even though the characters and overall story arc is continued in order of the books. This is an emotional and sexy read with a happy ending with no nasty surprises. I let you read to decide the rest. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as me

More than a great book This was my favorite book in this series. I don’t know who is my favorite character Harlow or Noah, they are both worth rooting for. Noah is great and is just trying to figure what is going on with after his last concussion, can Harlow help him in to his retirement and his next career. Harlow just wants to hide out and sex, but is that all. These two are great together and the twists and turns. The way that the pregnancy scare with the “gold Digger” is great. Shayla Black has not disappointed with an absolutely wonderful book that I could not put down.
