About the Author

Author charlotte Roach Chaffin lives in South Carolina. She is the mother of two and grandmother of four children. She started writing in 1984, her first short story was read and broadcast from a local radio station in OK during Christmas of that year. She laughingly says "Ghosts come around when ever they want even at Christmas time." Charlotte is working on her fourth book in the series of MOSTLY TRUE GHOST STORIES.

This is a great collection of short stories written for older children, teens and adults. Each story is suspenseful, entertaining and fun to read. "Blackbeard's Ring" was my very favorite of the stories because I was clinging from word to word trying to find out what would happen next! It is truly a haunted tale with suspense and mystery until the very end. I absolutely loved the twists and the thrilling moments that had me on the edge of my seat. Charlotte Chaffin does not disappoint.
