About the Author

Christine E. Goodner is a dynamic and experienced violin and early childhood music teacher with over 20 years of experience in music education. Her unique blend of expertise in music, child development, and leadership gives her a holistic approach to working with teachers, students, and their families. Christine holds a degree in early childhood education and has extensive teacher training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA). She holds a certification as a Circle of Security Parenting facilitator and is a frequent speaker and clinician around North America on the topic of supporting young music students with practice. Christine currently teaches in her studio in Hillsboro, Oregon, and is codirector of the Oregon Suzuki Institute. She is the author of Beyond the Music Lesson: Habits of Successful Suzuki Families (available in Spanish) and Positive Practice: 5 Steps to Help Your Child Develop a Love of Music.
