About the Author
Wanda Micheal has an educational background in both music and early childhood education. While operating a learning center for five years, she realized there are different types of learning styles, and that it is extremely difficult to teach each type of learner in a classroom setting. As a result, in 2015 Wanda founded Mobile Music and Education for Kids, an educational program committed to teaching the whole child through the arts and fitness. A ‘whole child’ approach to arts and education is defined by policies, practices, and relationships that ensure each child, in each school, in each community, is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. This sets the standard for comprehensive, sustainable school improvement and provides for long term student success. In 2017 Wanda designed the group game Musical Education&Fitness Walk to engage people of all ages and learning styles. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines across the country, and she is most proud of the number of students that have benefited from her unique teaching style.
