MY DOG WROTE THESE STORIES includes three short stories that each have their own unique take reality.

“The Gift” is told from Good Boy’s perspective. Good Boy, a golden retriever, has unique observations about his human and the world. One day, Good Boy feels he is left no choice and leaves the ultimate gift for his human to find when she gets home. However, that is when all goes sour for Good Boy.

“Mother” explores the bond between an aging mother and her son, Johnny. Johnny has some tough news for his mother, which begins with admitting that he recently lost his job. The only good news for the mother and son is that they get to enjoy one last movie night together.

“Ring of Fire” begins with Jessie performing a good deed by picking up a poor, fragile, and mute hitchhiking girl. It isn’t too long before Jessie realizes something is off about the girl, but by then it is too late. Once his truck breaks down and begins to smoke, things take a horrifying turn for the worst.
