Disclaimer... I have not read the book! However, I also never plan to. I'm sorry, but just the title alone is off putting. I'm a minority myself but even I can admit that if a white author published a book titled My Ex Black Girlfriend, that author would be bombarded by comments about how racial it sounds. I understand that authors often do not choose their own titles, but this title needs to be reworked. It is off-putting and yes, racial. The book can be labelled Multi-Cultural without having to point out the color of the person's skin. Doesn't matter if he's black, white, green or pink with purple polka dots

This story was not well written. The author seemed to have gotten confused when writing about Desiree's career. First she worked in production, then she worked as supermarket clerk? Any way just don't care enough to buy the series.
