About the Author

Dr. Panchanathan Manivasagan is a Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry & Bio-Science at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) in Gumi, South Korea. A primary focus of his current research is the development of multifunctional nanomaterials for multimodal imaging (in vivo fluorescence imaging, photoacoustic imaging, CT imaging, and MR imaging) and therapy (chemotherapy, phototherapy, chemodynamic therapy, electrodynamic therapy, sonodynamic therapy, immunotherapy, starvation therapy, and electrolytic ablation therapy) for cancer and microbial infections.
Dr. Jayachandran Venkatesan M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Yenepoya Research Centre (YRC), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), India. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of Bioengineering, Incheon National University, and Hanyang University, South Korea. Previously, he worked as a Research Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Marine Bioprocess Research Center (MBPRC) at Pukyong National University, South Korea. He received his Master of Science in chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University in 2005. Further, He received his Ph.D. from Pukyong National University in 2011. His primary research interests are the investigation and development of naturally derived polymers, ceramics, and protein-based materials for biomedical applications. Furthermore, he works on natural biomaterials for tissue engineering and drug delivery applications.
Prof. Eue-Soon Jang is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry & Bio-Science at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) in Gumi, South Korea. He has held positions as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, USA, and at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at POSTECH in South Korea. Additionally, he worked as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Future Technology Research at Korea Telecom in South Korea. Prof. Jang obtained his B.Sc. degree from the Department of Chemistry at Chungnam National University in South Korea and his Master's and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. His research program primarily revolves around the synthesis of various metal nanoparticles and the crystal engineering of solid nanoparticles.
