New Our Journey Complete Text
Being lost 222 years in the past is scary, but can also be interesting. A couple leaves Knoxville as they go on a camping trip hike the Road to Nowhere. It is 2012 when they start hiking and when they finish hiking later that evening, they find themselves in 1790 when Tennessee was part of the Southwest Territory.

Trouble is brewing between the couple in a relationship that was once on a solid foundation. Now the relationship is anything but solid. Domestic violence has reared its ugly head, as has cheating, along with financial concerns. In 1790, their former concerns are a thing of the past, instead they are facing being pursued by a black bear, attacked by Indians, and crossing rivers with a wagon.

Along the way, they make good friends, build lasting relationships and become an important part of a frontier settlement. The family unit swells to six with the couple taking in orphans and the birth of twins. Our Journey shows the importance of community, the beauty of nature, and how different life would have been for the couple. But through it all their desire to survive and become a family made them stronger and brought them closer together than even they could have ever imagined.
