After what seemed most of an eternity he woke up in a hospital not knowing who he was or how he got there. He was absolutely certain, however, that his life depended on getting out of that hospital and finding out who he was. And so starts an epic adventure in one of science fiction and fantasy's most revered series, The Chronicles of Amber. Amber is the one true world of which all others are but shadows reflecting it down through the multi-verse.
