No-Nonsense Technician Class License Study Guide (for tests given starting July 1, 2014) by Daniel Romanchik

Learn everything you need to know to get your Technician Class amateur radio license. Written in a simple, easy-to-understand style, this study guide will get you on the air in no time.

What I have done is to take every single question in the question pool and reword it as a statement, highlighting the correct answer. Similar questions are grouped together, and text has been added to add some context and tie it all together. This makes the No-Nonsense study guide easy to read and understand.

Thousands of amateur radio operators have used the No-Nonsense study guides to get their amateur radio licenses. You can, too.

Had the info I needed to pass the test.and it was somehow easier to get through on the nook . Found The Ham Whisperer on Youtube and that also helped a bunch.

This is the most efficient and effective preparation guide for the Technician license exam that I've seen.  It doesn't have the level of detail of the ARRL "Ham Radio License Manual", but this is intentional.  It is a much quicker read, very carefully focused on exactly what you need to know to pass the exam. Reading this carefully and then practicing with the free online "ARRL Exam Review for Ham Radio" seems like a pretty sure path to passing on the first try.
