Sweetbriar Cove is one of my favourite series, I love that every book is about a different couple finding their HEA and I love that each book can be read as stand-alones. Book 6 is Eliza Bennett and Cal Prescott’s story and what a story it is, two very different people coming from two very different backgrounds, could it be opposites attract even when one of you find out the other fired you from the job you loved...... The attraction was instant between Eliza and Cal and the chemistry is off the charts but is that enough when you feel that you are worlds apart. The journey these two need to take has many hurdles along the way, there are a few twists and turns but it’s love that wins out in the end. I loved that the characters have depth and strength, the banter between them was perfect and this book had the perfect mix of love, humour and some seriously hot scenes. Once again Melody Grace has given us another brilliant addition to a great series and another couple to fall in love with.

Eliza returns home to SweetBriar Cover after losing her job on her way back into town she stops to help a motorist that has a flat tire. Turns out the motorist is none other than her old boss, Cal who recently has taken over the management of the Boston Newspaper where she worked. Cal is overwhelmed with his job duties and living up to his uncle's standards. He takes his godmother up on the use of her home in SweetBriar to rest and regroup. It takes Cal a little while to figure out why Eliza is so perturbed at him. That just adds another level of aggravation to Eliza. Cal fired her and doesn't even know who she is. The sparks really fly between these two right from the beginning I love the bantering these two have. There was some laugh out loud moments. The only downside to Eliza personality is that she very opionated and doesn't look at the bigger picture. Eliza really struggled to see past Cal's social standing to see the real Cal. Cal doesn't help matters when she attends a social gala with him and she is treated no better than arm candy. I don't think he meant to treat her like this. I think he knew she was out of her element and he was trying to help but then on the other hand she can be pretty opinionated and talks first and thinks later. He really is a very nice, upstanding guy, who is struggling himself with family duties. He's under a great deal of pressure trying to make every happy and make his parents proud. These two have to make some tough decisions on future employment and relationships. What I really like about this book as you can visualize their individual struggles and I was very glad that they both took paths that made them happy.

4.5 Stars!! No Ordinary Love is a swoon-worthy romance with a pride and prejudice flair that will take you emotions on a wild ride and keep you begging for more… No Ordinary Love follows the story of Eliza and Cal. Eliza returns home to Sweetbriar Cove after she loses her job. Her dreams were crushed, but hopefully Sweetbriar Cove would have all the answers. The last thing she planned on was the handsome stranger that blew into town. She knows guys like him, but he might just be the perfect distraction. That is until she discovers his true identity….Cal stumbles upon Sweetbriar Cove to escape it all. He’s hardworking and chained to his job. The pressure is always on and sometimes he feels like he can’t breathe, so an impromptu vacation might just be what the doctor ordered. Cal has always prided himself with his cool, smart logic, but meeting Eliza turned his entire world upside down. She makes him question every and anything. She makes him see the world in a whole other light. Falling in love could be so easy, if only they could see past what makes them so entirely different…. No Ordinary Love sucked me in from page one. I fell completely head over heels for Cal and Eliza. I loved Eliza’s smart and honest mouth. She told you how things were and stood up for what she believed in. If you were lucky enough to break through her walls, she was the best friend you could ask for. She loved deeply and with her whole heart and was loyal to those she held dear. She wasn’t born to a world filled with money and enjoyed the little things in life. And Cal couldn’t be more her opposite. He is rich and successful; the head of his family’s company. He had to make so many important decisions and had so many people depending on him. He always had to put on the charm and never got to really be his true self, that is until Eliza came along. While these two couldn’t be more opposite, somehow they just worked. Their pull and chemistry was undeniable. And they each brought out parts in each other that they never knew existed. Neither one of them was perfect and both had some growing up to do, especially when it came to love. But, that didn’t stop me from rooting for these two to find their happily ever after. No Ordinary Love is the sixth book in the Sweetbriar Cove Series, but can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. The characters are a lot of fun and easy to connect with. Their stories are filled with lots of heart that will leave you swooning and believing in happily ever afters. I think this book is an excellent addition to the Sweetbriar Cove Series. I am a sucker for sweet, swoon-worthy romance that sets your heart on fire and gives you all the feels and let me tell you, Melody Grace totally knocks it out of the park with this read. I can’t wait to see what story she has in line for my heart next.
