About the Author

Cyrus T. Brady (1861–1920) graduated from Annapolis in 1883 and was ordained an Episcopalian minister in 1890, holding pastorates throughout the Midwest and the East. He began his writing career in 1898, in order to supplement his clerical income, and went on to write forty books in the next twenty years. His works include For Love of Country and Gethsemane and After.
