L.H. Cosway, writes the best angst filled humorous off centered sexy love stories out there. Oh my heart ! It got such a workout, from the first chapter till the last word. This story had so many feels. I felt broken, healed, tattered, elated, hopeful, hopeless, and I loved it all. The world was so unique as were the characters. The two main characters were oil and water, mixed with fire and ice. Their intensity was off the charts. Covering years of time the characters develop and mature, so naturally. I couldn't put it down, I took half a day off work just to finish it. I really want to see where James and Neil go in this world. I have my fingers crossed for a book on them.**Read the prequel to this (Air Kiss), you don't want to miss how this all started. I was given an advanced copy of this book for and honest review no strings attached.

There's a whole lot of tension--sexual and otherwise--that lingers around Callum and Leanne, and I couldn't help but feel the anticipation whenever these two were in the same space together. Being with each other seemed inevitable but there's quite a bit of baggage that they've got going on, especially when it came to the first time that they broke up. I won't mention what it was that ultimately led them to part ways, but suffice it to say that it's something that continues to haunt them, especially Leanne. A few years older but maybe not necessarily wiser, Callum and Leanne do some much needed growing up and soul searching, and I loved having a ringside seat to the evolution of their relationship. Off the Air easily gets five stars, and I cannot wait for the next Running on Air story! ♥

Off the Air by L.H. Cosway is novel one in her Running on Air series. For better understanding I strongly recommend to read the prequel, Air Kiss, first. This is Callum and Leanne's epic love story. Callum Davidson and Leanne Simmons are part of a reality TV show. Together with their friends and team James, Trevor, Paul and xx they're showing off their parkour skills. And o boy they're great. Their show is fantastic and they're om top of their world. Only Callum and Leanne have a difficult relationship. They go from love to hate in the blink of an eye. Somehow they're toxic for each other - so it seems. But deep, deep down they love each other. To make matters more complicated throw a contract, jealous fans and a insider who isn't nice at all in the mix and you have a excellent storyline. The brilliant writing and a captivating story make the book a great one. I loved the characters and the story . I connected very easily with the hero and the heroine. I loved the writing and simply couldn't put the book down. I read it, cover to cover in one sitting. I could feel their connection, their through the roof high chemistry in the words. I recommend Off the Air and can't wait to read the next book in the series, Floating on Air. 5 stars.

Leanne is just trying to get her life back on track and has decided that Callum is the one thing she doesn’t need in her life. Callum is determine to prove to Leanne that they are perfect for each other and to trust and believe in them once and for all. Loved their story and exited to read the next book!

A great start to this spin off series from Hearts of Air. The storyline follows a group of adrenaline chasers, who have signed up to a reality TV show about parkour; Running on Air. Leanne Simmons is a tomboy of sorts. She’s always favoured the active lifestyle, and found free running encompased the adrenaline chase she thrived on. Having been invited to run with an established foursome, her and her best mate Paul, earned themselves a contract on the TV show too. Having already been given the background to Leanne and Callum’s tumultuous relationship, we are thrust into their lives whilst they head out to film the next season. Relayed in current and past times, their dysfunctional connections are given a bit of context. One of the many things LH is so good at, is bringing us such a wide variety of unique characters, and Leanne and Callum don’t disappoint. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy the environment this story was set in, but LH ensured I was easily invested. She remains one of my autobuy authors, and Ms Cosway again proves she is a Queen of words. Complimentary copy received gleefully in exchange for a true review.

I have been a fan of LH Cosway since I first read Six of Hearts (I say FIRST read because I have since re-read it about 20 times). She is an amazing author who is able to create such wonderfully unique stories and Off the Air did not disappoint! This story was angsty and hot and addictive. I read through it quickly because I just wanted to know what was going to happen to Leanne and Callum. If you have read Air Kiss, then you have already been introduced to these characters (and you MUST read Air Kiss first!). Leanne is a tough cookie and she has been through hell and is just trying to survive. Now, this means that sometimes you will want to shake her and talk some sense into her… but you end up loving her just the same. Callum, oh Callum. He is another fantastic Cosway hero. He is broken and flawed, but oh so intensely loyal and swoony. These two have had such a rocky road to where they are going, that once the story is done you are just so happy for them because they definitely earned it. And oh man, the side characters. I have a major thing for great side characters and this book was full of great ones. I am curious to see where this crazy ride leads them all. LH Cosway has created another magical world that I just want to curl up and live in. I am so excited for what’s next!

I love, love, love LH Cosway and couldn't wait for this book. It gives you lots of what you expect - characters I care about, action, drama, lust and love. And, I enjoyed meeting a new group of people that I will hopefully get to know a lot better in future books. I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars only because it did take me a bit to get invested, even though I read the prequel. Usually I'm all in right away. I think it is because the characters seem younger (and I'm getting older) but everything did eventually click and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Through all the ups and downs between Callum and Leanne, the one thing that can not be denied is their connection. They have gone through some heartbreaking stuff and quite a bit of miscommunication. But boy when they’re in the zone with each other, they have some serious chemistry going on. I really enjoy this whole storyline. I loved reading about parkour in the last series and I am so glad we get more with new characters in this series. It keeps me coming back for more.

4 Stars! The Review: A contract, a wager and a limited amount of time to fix all that’s been broken. Told in dual POV’s, Off the Air is a wonderfully fun and exciting second chance romance with plenty of angsts and likable characters ... even if it took a while to get to the “like” part. Story/Characters ... In this series, we meet Leanne Simmons and Callum Davidson in the novella, Air Kiss. The moment they meet, it’s both instant attraction and instant dislike. That one moment sets the stage for the next few years of their tumultuous relationship. After falling in love, they experience the worse kind of heartbreak a couple can. Now, both are trying to recover and find not only themselves through all the pain, but also each other. Callum wanted nothing more than to earn money doing the thing he loved most. Parkour. He’s now the reality star he wanted to be and has the means to care for his mom and set her up in better living conditions. The only thing out of sync is his relationship with the one woman he’s ever loved. He’s hot-headed and possessive and he knows that if he wants this last chance with Leanne, he needs to change. Leanne loves parkour. When the opportunity came knocking for her to be able to do the thing she loved most on television, she jumped at the chance to work with her idols. She never imagined falling in love with one of them or experiencing the misery-infecting-pain that came afterward. She's sworn off Callum and their toxic relationship forever ... but the man has pull. There’s something about him she’s never been able to resist and now he’s on a mission to win her back and there seems to be little she can do to keep from falling. Thoughts ... It took me a few chapters to get into this one. And it was solely because of Leanne. I loved the novella and was instantly intrigued with this couple. And I love second chance romances. They are like air for me, but Leanne was hard to like in this book. Yes, something tragic happened to her ... but not just to HER. It took a great deal of the books for her to come to terms with what happened and to accept her part in it and to realize how horribly she’d treated the one person who could have made it all so much easier because he was going through the same kind of pain. By the end, I understood Leanne better and even liked her. But it was hard to see that cool chick I instantly liked in the novella behind the dark cloud she shrouded herself in like a shield. Callum on the other hand. Oh my! That man was just ... a bag full of yum! He knew what he wanted in life and he went for it. When tragedy struck, his pain was just as piercing as Leanne’s, leading to three years of back and forth and tumultuous relationship highs and lows. He comes to the realization that something has to change and in a last ditch effort to make Leanne his, he pulls out all the stops and it was thrilling to read! His character grew so much throughout the whole book. He learned to control himself, have patience and find an inner strength I don’t think he even knew he had. The side characters, as always in this authors books, were on point and I adored them all. I can’t wait to see more from their stories as this series progresses. The Wrap Up: I enjoy the writing of L.H. Cosway a lot. She writes beautiful stories filled with fascinating characters, angsty, emotional scenes and always puts a unique spin on things. Just as she’s done with this book.

LH Cosway is aways a great read for me. I still remember my first brush with Painted Faces. I've read it so many times after! So good. So when I heard she had an offshoot from Hearts on Air, I was intrigued. It was a slow burn, comparable to Mariana Zapata, and it was definitely worth it. Leanne and Callum had a lot of angst, a little tragedy, and heartache between them. Watching them learn to communicate was a great payoff. Cosway always writes her characters with wonderful flaws and quirks and this one was great. I'm looking forward to James and Micheala and I'm super curious about Paul! Love him.

4.5 stars! This is a great second chance romance set in the reality show world. L.H. Cosway has, again, crafted a unique story with just the right amount of angst, well developed characters, and an engaging plot line. This story follows Leanne and Callum, who previously had a relationship that ended and part of their contract on the reality show is that they won't become romantically involved while filming. What follows is a story of growth and forgiveness. Cal is an amazing new book boyfriend. He is sexy and flawed, but really has a deep capacity to love. The secondary characters were not just backdrops, but really great additions to the story. This book reminded me why I love reading L.H. Cosway books and I can't wait for the next in the series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. LH Cosway proved to me again why she is one of my favorite authors. She knows how to pull you in and never lets go. This book is about Cal & Leanne. We first met them in “Hearts on Air”. They always had a tumultuous relationship. They would fight then make up. We learn the reason behind their heartache and anger in this story. I’m not going to ruin the story by telling you why. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK TO FIND OUT! This story is about forgiveness, grief, and healing. I loved every word. This is a must read.

Blurb: Spending a month filming a reality TV show with your ex is no picnic. Especially when you’ve signed a contract stating that the two of you will not, under any circumstances, have romantic relations while filming. Leanne Simmons and Callum Davidson never had an easy relationship. From enemies to lovers and back to enemies, they’ve been on again/off again for years. Things come to a head when Callum gets into an altercation with a rival for Leanne’s affections. Their management decide enough is enough and give them both an ultimatum: sign the contract or leave the show. Unwilling to give up their livelihoods, Callum and Leanne sign on the dotted line. However, like always, they can’t resist making a bet. Callum thinks it’s only a matter of time before they break the agreement, while Leanne is determined to see it through. Can she resist him for an entire month without losing her sanity? And what if this is the one bet that finally breaks them both? Off the Air is a contemporary romance and Book One in L.H. Cosway’s brand new “Running on Air” Series. Each book focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone. My review: 5 Stars, which is never a surprise for me when I pick up a book by L.H. Cosway. Her writing is always magnificent. Her characters have layers, flaws and shortcomings, as well as kind hearts. Her storylines always give me something different and unexpected. When I first met Callum in "Hearts on Air," I would not have expected to be this interested in his story. He seemed like a jerk. Then I read "Air Kiss" (the prequel novella to "Off the Air") and he grew on me. Now, after reading "Off the Air," I'm swooning over him. I loved learning more about him and how he was affected by a tragic loss in his past. The way Cal's reaction to this loss was written was refreshing and heartfelt. Also, the broody vibes and hunky tattoos don't hurt! Don't even get me started on the awesome cover for this book (I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but the book was awesome anyway, so my enjoyment of the cover is justified!) Leanne was complex, and I ached for her as she navigated her grief in all its forms. The push and pull between Leanne and Cal was intense. Super angsty! I'm not usually a big fan of intense angst, but this was done so well, I devoured it! I'm very excited for the next book in the series. I can't wait to see what James and Michaela are up to! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for my honest review.

I met this couple in Hearts on Air, I fell in love a little more in Air Kiss and now I had a chance to fall completely in love with Cal. Cal is a temperamental, strong, determined guy who cares for his mother very fondly and is uncontrollably in love with Leanne, but their relationship is very complicated, a real Push and Pull. After involving Leanne in a very big mess, these two will need to accept the limits imposed by the reality show producers they are part if they want to continue in the attraction. For Leanne it is simple since she finds their relationship toxic but for Cal it will be very complicated since he wants to win back the girl. Between radical maneuvers, tensions, many fights, and taunts, Cal will be proving his worth to Leanne. It is beautiful to watch as he tries, even though in the wrong way sometimes, show the girl that he is worth the risk and that together they form a strong parkour pair in tune. Leanne still has not recovered from the loss she has suffered and still blames herself for what has happened and ends up taking Cal out of her life when they most needed each other's support. In many moments I was irritated with her and how she ended up pushing the right buttons to provoke Cal's jealousy and fights. Narrated in the first person, alternately between Leanne and Cal between past and present, L.H. Cosway shows all the moments lived by this couple. A book about mourning, second chances, persistence and true love. I loved Cal's mum, the new parkour scenes and see again the other members of the group, especially Paul and Trev. Now I'm anxious for the next books in the series. 4/5 stars

What can I say but that L. H. Cosway has done it again. I’ve been waiting a long time for this book and it absolutely did not disappoint! Cal and Leann’s love story was raw, haunting and beautiful all at the same time. I can’t wait to read the next in this series!

I loved this book. This spin-off series is just as great as the original one. I loved these two characters. I definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author.

***4 Stars*** While it has been quite a few moons since reading Hearts on Air, I remember wanting to spend more time with the characters and see where their lives would lead. So, when the spinoff was announced, I was all in ~ especially because Callum and Leanne were going to be leading things off and I knew it was going to one heck of a ride and I was not disappointed! It was all kinds of emotional ~ it was like a ping pong game on crack, one moment I felt this way and then the next I was on the opposite end of the spectrum ~ it was crazyness, but so worth every moment in the end. Callum and Leanne. I loved these two, I did. They both have huge hearts ~ even if it is apparent to the naked eye ~ and the sweet, smexy and snarky was on point. But the frustration with these two was also real. I swear one moment I was #TeamCallum, in the next breath I was #TeamLeanne and then there were moments where I was neither because they were both driving me bsc (the whole acting like unruly toddlers thing was real with these two...OH. SO. REAL) BUT (and there is always a BUT) there was that spark, that chemistry between them that had me wanting to see them working their numerous issues and getting the HEA they really did deserve and though it was something of an arduous process, it was all worth it in the end. Regardless of, or maybe because of, all the emotional upheaval I ended up really enjoying this book. The writing was engaging and I really liked how their story was told. It worked to give a well rounded picture of who Leanne and Callum really were. And as always, I do love me well written secondary characters, and there are a bunch here that I want to get to know a lot better (and one I hope gets kicked off the island) So bring on the rest of the series!! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

I love the Heart series, and Trevor holds a special place in my heart. Not to mention I think parkour is awesome. I’m always in awe watching those videos on youtube. Also I will never admit how often I’ve seen the District B13 and Brick Mansions movies. So more parkour and more epic love stories, I’m here for it. After finishing Air Kiss (which is free FYI), toxic is definitely one word to describe Leanne and Cal’s relationship. His hot temper, her constant lashing out, looking from the outside in you wonder why these two keep going. It was that constant push and pull that made me a bit hesitant before I started the novel. Though in true L.H. Cosway fashion, most of my worries were ungrounded. What Leanne and Cal went through was traumatic, years have passed but neither has come truly at peace with what happened. Instead they fight, they lash out, they hurt each other…though they never stopped loving. Definitely not healthy. Though Cal is finally doing some self-improvement, working on his impulsive tendencies. I have to say I liked seeing this development in him. Leanne unfortunately isn’t quite there yet. Running is what she does best. As longs as she keeps moving, and jumping, she doesn’t have to deal. But we all know it’s going to catch up to her, and it’s not pretty. It is raw, it’s real, and painful. All that angst and hurt just sucks you into this story of healing. Leanne and Cal might not make sense at first, but L.H. Cosway has once again written an amazing story. Whenever I start one off her novels I truly have no idea what to expect, except that it’s going to be unique. Funny, intense, sexy…I can not get enough. I’m extremely excited for the rest of the Running on Air series as well. *I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review

Leanne and Callum's story is finally here! I feel like I've been waiting on this book forever. Well, not quite, but you get the point. I liked Leanne from Hearts on Air a lot. Callum not so much. Leanne was a brash and honest young woman driven to be the best. Callum mostly seemed like a butt hurt playboy, just there for the adrenaline rush and to rub other girls in Leanne's face. It is much more complicated than that. The road to love can be very bumpy, no matter what your shoe preference is. Leanne and Callum were very young when they first met and they had some very difficult obstacles thrown at them early on in their relationship. I enjoyed reading their story and always felt like they belonged together and that they both deserved a happy ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes contemporary romance. I received an ARC in exchange of my honest review.
