Oil Fire
When night falls over the city of Ummur it brings with it a killer mist from out of the mountains, blanketing the river valley in certain death. Choosing a life hiding among the dead inside the city walls is better than exile.
Puabi has studied enough magic to make herself invisible to human eyes. Of course stealing that knowledge was what got her exiled in the first place.
Now the search for more forbidden knowledge must be set aside to help her foster sister. Puabi has to rectify an old mistake.
But magic is like oil fire, trying to extinguish it only makes to spread hotter and faster. Can Puabi undo what she did years before?
