It′s bedtime, but young Olu would rather play than sleep. When his father finally convinces him to go to bed, and encourages him to dream, Olu′s imagination soars. With his stuffed bear Brindle, he sets off on a grand adventure which ends at a big race. When Olu wakes up, he realizes that dreams can be as fun as real life-maybe even better!

About the Author
Shane W. Evans is the illustrator of more than thirty picture books for children, including The Way a Door Closes by Hope Anita Smith, a Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe Award winner, and the author and illustrator of Olu's Dream. He has exhibited his art in West Africa and Paris and in Chicago, New York, and other major U.S. cities. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where he runs Dream Studio, a community art space.

My children loved this book. My four year old was just taken by the colorful pictures. On the first night I recieved this book I read it to them as a bed time story and after I was finish reading it I had to read it again. Can't wait for the next book.
