About the Author

K.C. Stewart is the self published author of the Hailey Holloway series and most recently, the Adirondack Pack series. All her life she had fantasized and day-dreamed on a regular basis but it wasn’t until she began writing short stories that she made those fantasies a reality. She has graduated to novels but still dabbles in the occasional flash fiction and short story. Because of her love for reading and the written word, K.C. is currently continuing her education at Clarion University for Library Science. When she isn’t taking photographs, studying or writing, she is supporting a very real gummy bear habit. Currently, she lives with her boyfriend, german shepherds and cats in central Pennsylvania.

This story was fantastic! Lee's emotions and sadness leapt off the page and nearly had me in tears throughout. Vince was gorgeous - genuine, smart, and hot. I loved how he kept coming back for Lee, and was so considerate of what she wanted and needed.

Possible spoilers. Wolf shifter story with a twist is how I would describe this book. This book is in the middle of the series and although touted as being able to read as a standalone, it might be helpful to read in order. I was a bit confused as the action takes place using all of the characters (main ones from previous books in the series). But...rather than take away from the story, it made me want to read the other books! Okay. I was confused. This book didn't explain why Lee felt guilty. It didn't explain why her friends gave her the silent treatment. That would have been helpful to explain or reiterate some of the dialogue leading to this drama maybe as a flashback. The plot was great except the constant recall of Lee and her internal drama as a major part of the storyline without understanding led to a weaker story. Make sure if the audience is told that the books can be read out of sequence, a link is made between the books so that the reader isn't lost because it does take away from the enjoyment and does lead to lower rated reviews. Still I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more of the series.

Again, K.C. Stewart did it again. I love the Adirondack Pack, and i was very excited to finally read Lee's story. And wow what a story, i loved reading about Lee and Vince. Definately recommend this series to anyone who loves a good wolf shifter romance. Even though, this book could be read as a standalone, it would be good to read the other books in the series, so that you know more about what is going on with Owen and Mira I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A very emotional story. I liked Lee and Vince. Lee had some very heavy baggage she was carrying. This made her become shut down and shut off. I could sympathize with her and I think many other readers will also. Vince was just wonderful and stuck with Lee even after a lot of people would have given up and walked away. A compelling story, engaging characters, drama, deep emotions, danger, suspense, and steamy passion.

This is really a fascinating and heartwarming shapeshifter romance and I thoroughly enjoy reading it. This book grabs a person and will not allow you to put it down until the last page has been read. This story covers Lee (aka Glilee Lunamaul) (aka Penelope) escapes reality by playing in a gaming world, in real life she works at the Pack's Medical Center and also at the local pub and is slowly becoming withdrawn from life. Vince Steinbeck (aka Valek Firemourn) is basely new to the pack and is also a gamer and his eyes are firmly on Lee. What you will find in this story is, drama, suspense, intrigue, a woman slowly going feral and unable to accept forgiveness, inability to carry pups due to an old injury, a feeling of being inadequacy, emotional feelings, attacks, wolf reservation, sever injuries, rescued, depression, self-doubt, being locked up for self protection, being accepted and falling in love. The story-line is impressive and well written, the plot is taut and terrific. The characters are well developed, tangible and realistic with their feelings, desires and needs. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a extremely good shapeshifter romance with a HEA.

This book is a great story about werewolves and their everyday lives. It shows that the author has read many books about werewolves. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A tragic accident, and the way she has been treated by some of her pack, has eroded Lee's self confidence. She interacts with people better in the online gaming world. When her gamer friend and pack mate, Vince, disappears she is determined to find him. Vince is on his way to Lee's house when he is attacked by members of Canidae. When he regains consciousness he finds himself in a wolf sanctuary, but he never gives up hope that his pack will find him so he can return to his love, Lee. Wow, these are unique, well written characters. The plot is exciting with some surprising twists and a happily ever after. Fantastic book, I loved it! I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.

I read the series up to this point on KU last year. It really helps to read in order, but if you don't mind missing the details, you do get background in this book. This story follows two lonely people, one who takes on a lot of guilt and depression and therefore believes no one likes or will ever love such a screw up. There are side stories including a race to find a missing pack member before time runs out. Now I need to find the next series, I need to find out what happens next. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

We finally get Lee's story and it is a good one! It isn't all fluffy and light, if anything it is probably darker than the previous books as Lees spirals into a deep depression and severe anxiety. As someone who has suffered with this, I can honestly say that it reads true! It doesn't matter what anyone else tells you, until you believe it yourself, it is a moot point. This is where Lee is. She did wrong by deleting Mira's message, but everything worked out well in the end and everyone has forgiven her. However, she can't forgive herself so just carries on spiralling. The only time she feels she can be herself, without being judged, is online when she is gaming. This is also the time she can talk to Vince, without him knowing who she is - although not for lack of trying on his part. With a multitude of storylines in one book, we deal with Lee/Vince, Vince being attacked and disappearing, the Canidae (although not much), an Alpha meeting, and stuff to do with Mira and Sadie. Just like when Sadie when down in Mira's story, so Mira goes down in Lee's. Mira comes across as being just as selfish and self-centred as Sadie was accused of being. Plus big trauma of what might be. Luckily, Zach was on hand to tell some truths to her so everything was suddenly okay. With a few grammatical errors, this was still an enjoyable story and I look forward to more stories from the Adirondack Pack. * I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

The first few pages weren't very interesting and I debated whether to read or not to read. I am going tell you what is happening on those pages. We have two gamers who are talking to each other (by computers) and only know the other person by their game names. Lee has problems with the pack. She thinks everyone hates her and this leads her into very severe problems. Vince has his own issues although the Alpha has him working with the pups. The pups are doing well with his training. This story has so much going on, I almost needed help to keep everyone straight. I did enjoy the book and would like to read the previous books to fill in the bits and pieces in this story.

K.C. Stewart created another amazing addition to the Adirondack Pack Series, On the Edge. Lee Reece alienated herself from her friends. The only thing helping her get through is her three-year on-line gaming relationship with fellow wolf, Vince Steinbeck. However, Vince does not know Lee’s true identity, and Lee is afraid to reveal herself. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences. I loved On the Edge. I like Lee’s character. I enjoyed hearing Lee’s story and discovering her point of view. After a childhood accident left her barren, she felt like an outcast from the pack. She doesn’t realize how people really feel about her. She goes through a lot in this story and does some soul searching. Vince is a noble character. He is great with kids which makes Lee’s inability to have kids more difficult for her, not wanting to be selfish. Vince finds himself in some trouble with Canidae that puts his life at risk. The plot was well executed and entertaining. I also enjoyed the side story of Mira and Sadie’s mom, Ann, coming to visit. There were some interesting things that transpired from that visit. Mira also has some self-discovery in this story. I appreciated that she has Zach as a friend that can relate to her. I love how the characters intertwine and interact. For example, I think Vince having known Jenny is clever. I love that the story began and ended with Lee and Vince playing each other online. The ending was hilarious. I cannot wait for Miles story in the next book, Out of Reach. Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Let me start out by saying I have not read the other 2 books in the series. With that said I had no problem with following this story. I am however intrigued and will be going back to read the first two books in the series. The author does a very good job of explaining Lees's depression, she does not gloss over how it truly feels to be going through this kind of pain. I'm looking forward to reading more for Mrs. Stewart.

What an amazing book and it touches on something that can happen to wolves that I haven't read in a story before. Lee messed up and is unable to talk to those she hurt and won't let them talk to her to make it better. Vince is another member of the pack who has a thing for Lee but can't get to her. They both are gamers and Lee knows something that Vince doesn't, they've been talking and friends for years through the game. Will Vince get through to Lee in time so she can see that she's worth it to him and her friends? A great story with a story that you just don't expect when you start reading. I haven't read the previous books in the series but don't feel like I missed anything except for some back story which didn't take away from this book. A great story for all PNR lovers!!! I give this book 4.5 stars. This the third book in the Adirondack Pack series. While you can read this as a standalone, I don't recommend that. For this book to make sense you really need to have read the first two books to understand the dynamics and situation between the main characters. The book does not end in a cliffhanger but is open-ended for future books in the series. There is violence and  Hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. There is a lot of emotional drama in this story. Many of the loose ends from the first two books are tied up in this book. Overall, this book is about Vince and Lee, but there much more to the storyline than just those two. Sadie and Mira learn some new truths about their family they weren't expecting, which is especially hard for Mira to deal with. The problems with the Canidae continue and escalate. What can and will Owen do to protect his pack? I could really relate to Lee and the conflicting thoughts and emotions she had. I'm going to be dealing with that emotional hangover for awhile. I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

“On the Edge” grabs your heart and doesn’t let go, the story amazed me with the emotional depth conveyed. Lee loves her family and friends; but doesn’t believe she deserves love. When Lee makes a mistake, she believes no one can forgive her, and loses herself in a downward spiral of self-recrimination and loathing. Thank goodness for Vince. He loves her and refuses to give up no matter how much she pushes him away. I read this book in one sitting! I love a HEA and got it big time with this story! Lee’s emotional turmoil grabbed a hold of my heart and I just wanted to hug her. I am thrilled she was able to have a Happily Ever After! I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Poor Lee! She is living in a self made Hell of recrimination, rejection and isolation. After her misguided attempts at protecting Owen from what she thought was potential disaster, she has locked herself away. She is barely eating, works on automatic pilot and refuses to even speak to Owen, Ty, Sadie or Mira. But as she secretes herself away will she give into the ever increasing depths of depression which she is facing? Will she go feral or claw herself back from the brink? Chuck is her last lifeline to the pack. Except for her online gaming with Vince. Except he doesn't' know its her - he thinks it's someone called Glilee. Vince has had his eye on Lee for a while but she never gives him the time of the day. But as they are drawn together and her ruse is revealed, Vince gets taken unawares and ends up fighting for his life with unknown allies! Fast paced, intrigue riddled and witty banter. You get swept along in the brilliant story and there are still a few surprises lurking for Mira and Sadie too!! The Canidae are still causing mayhem and destruction.

Lee screwed up and now she was paying the price. With few friends left, she clung to the one person who had never let her down, Vince. Unfortunately, he didn’t know who she was either. Lee had hidden herself within a game they both played but three years of friendship online was not enough anymore for Vince. He wanted to meet her, to know the true name of the woman who had become his best friend. Canidea’s fight hits close to home and Vince gets caught in the crossfire. Lee’s carefully balanced secrets come crashing down around her as her wolf fights for control. Lee has a problem many have, low self-esteem and loads of self blame. The pain and loss of her dearest friends does not help and she is quickly spiraling out of control, with her wolf leading the way. Vince wants to get to know Lee better, as he has tried for years, but she pushes him away. Lee believes everyone will hurt and abandon her, so why give them the chance. Both Lee and Vince are very strong, but in different complimentary ways to one another. If only they can communicate and stop hurting one another. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

ON THE EDGE (Adirondack Pack #3) HEART-MELTING -STEAMY ROMANCE WHAT YOU’LL FIND IN THIS FANTASTIC STORY; a cast of remarkably impressive and engaging characters; intriguing storyline, picturesque and dynamic vivid scene descriptions, witty dialogue, jealousy, camaraderie, a family secret revealed, gut-wrenching moments, spiraling emotions, odious crimes, horrific danger, life-threatening incidents, and a fabulous conclusion leaving you wanting more. Lee made a grave mistake and now she is suffering though her friends and Owen the Alpha try to speak with her. She pushes everyone away even thinks of leaving the pack and starting over somewhere else. Of late her only enjoyment is her gaming especially when she is playing with Valek. Vince has been attracted to Lee for years never giving up, but she pushes him away too even though her heart stirs when he is around or even when he is not. As pack leader Owen has a lot to deal with including stopping the murderous ways of the Canidea, locating Vince, helping his mate, and aiding Lee into finding her way back to the pack. FANTASTIC fast paced well written creative read by a truly gifted author. The fusion of authenticity and fantasy make this a most impressive story. Loved how the author showed that forgiving your own mistakes and letting others help you is imperative in all relationships. Vincent had patience with Lee and his devotion and love for her shines throughout the story. I found this to be a most gratifying read and I loved it. If you treasure shifter romance this is a terrific book for your library. {I was gifted this book, and this is my honest review}. In the world of shifter romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this book.
