One Man is a perfect example of a book in which Lisa Renee Jones makes writing steamy romantic suspense look effortless. This book is full of well developed characters, mysterious deaths, clandestine meetings, family rivalries and more.
When Jax and Emma meet, they are both instantly drawn to one another. Unfortunately, there may be a history between their families that could poison a future relationship between the two of them. Emma is feeling out of control and confused by some of the information she's recently uncovered since her father's death. Jax has experienced personal losses of his own. Together they both understand and can relate to the emotions grief triggers but are unsure if they can they trust one another.
One Man is the first book in a trilogy and does end in an abrupt cliffhanger- - fortunately the second book is already available.

Jax is a very powerful man that knows when to play dirty or play nice. He is trying to figure out what happened to his brother. He is not stopping until he gets what he wants and that’s answers.
Emma is trying to get her life back and get it back on track. She went through a rough patch and trying her best to get herself back. She has a lot of enemies that she doesn’t need to be dealing with right now. She just lost her father and is finding out things about him.
When Jax and Emma meet they have a magnetic feed to one another. He gets her and she gets him but they both have a lot of secrets. They are good together. He is her lifeline and knows when to push and when not too.
The ending is left on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book. I need to know what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. A lot of dirty stuff going on and I need to know how it all turns out. Love this book.

There’s something about the atmosphere of this book that seriously reminds me of the author’s “A Perfect Lie”. A woman buried by the secrets she’s forced to keep, most of them not her own. A sweeping backdrop of family intrigue and betrayal. A man who may be exactly what he seems or might be nothing more than another betrayal in a long line of them. One thing I can say Lisa Renee Jones does with skill and flair is to create labyrinthine rabbit-warrens of double-crosses and conspiracies leaving the reader dazed and confused at the end of the book, wondering just which way is up. And with the cliff hanger this book ends on – literal and figurative – I’m desperate to know what happens next.

I have read other books by this author before but this book had so many errors anxd typos. It was hard to focus on the story!

One Man is book 1 in the Naked Trilogy series by Lisa Renee Jones. This author is amazing at writing mystery, romance and intrigue. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and then you do get a cliffhanger that will make you scream, NO!! I can’t wait for the next book. Needless to say, I loved this book and highly recommend it!!

Gosh...the suspense of this one not only kept me on the edge of my seat, but has left me wanting more after that WTH??? moment at the very end. Yes, this one ends in a cliffy, but because I loved it so much I am okay with. One man and his secrets can change everything, but so can one woman and hers...that's what we get in this book. It's intense, steamy, and the suspense will keep you turning those pages wondering just where Jax and Emma's story will take you next and what all will be revealed. Lisa Renee Jones has done a wonderful job starting this trilogy off with a great start. Looking forward to getting the other books just to see where she is going to take us next.

Emotionally gripping, action packed and addicting romance that is filled with trust issues, deep secrets, heart pounding twists and excitingly passionate turns..... was a great read that was so hard to put down. Loved this darkly sexy journey, all I can say is watch out for that jaw dropping cliff.

I need book two stat!!! One Man is a MUST READ! The intensity in this book has me on a natural high. I loved Emma and Jax together! So I was pretty much on the edge as the story these two hide start to unwind. The heat factor is through the roof and insanely hot! I hung on to every word and I cannot get these characters out of my head! I am excited for this new trilogy and know that we are in for a heck of a ride!!

WOW! Lisa Renee Jones sure knows how to take you on a fast paced breathless journey. That is full of intrigue, power, passion, secrets and lust. Sitting on the edge of my seat, I couldn’t read this fast enough. With every page as secrets are revealed I am left wondering, what else don’t I know. Worrying and loving every minute of this fantastic journey. Something big, feels like it is just around the next corner. And I cant wait until I know what it is.
And as if that isn’t enough Jax North and Emma Knight just about singed my fingers, with their intensely hot, intimacy and scorchingly hot, affair. As these two join forces to figure everything out, what else will come to light as Emma continues to reads her father’s journal? As Emma struggles with her family’s secrets. Will her brother be just as ruthless as her father? What else does Jax’s know? Will the men of Walker Security be able to protect these two?
As usual Lisa Renee Jones took me on QUITE the adventure, and left me hanging with a epic cliffhanger! I need the next book in this series “One Woman” NOW!!

One Man by Lisa Renee Jones is the first book in her brand new Naked trilogy . Told in dual POV between Emma and Jax, this story is sexy, dangerous and has a heck of a cliffhanger ending. I have long been a fan of this author, ever since I first read If I Were You back in 2013. Her books are always sexy, always have an underlying mystery and always ALWAYS completely suck me into the story.
Emma keeps herself separate and doesn't make herself available. Sex? Sure! Feelings? No way! But when her determination to move on from Jax does nothing more than increase his interest she feels her walls crumbling right along with her resolve.
Jax has one mission - find out what happened with his brother. He will do that whatever the cost. But with Emma in the picture and the two of them getting closer he may not be able to do whatever it takes. The cost, finally, may be too high.
Loved this - prepare for the cliffhanger but fear not, book two, One Woman, should be out in September 2019 and book three,Two Together, soon after in November 2019. Enjoy!

GAH! Cliffhanger of a whopper that left me gasping and cursing and...yea, let's not go there...This book, though, it so good I would have read it in one sitting if life didn't demand I partake in it and sleep and work and take care of my husband but I'm not going to tell you anything about this one because anything I put here is more than should be said in a review other than GAH! Bring me the next book already!!!!!! This author really knows how to make my heart pound and keep me coming back for more! Love it! Demand it! Grab this one now!

What a great beginning to this new trilogy! Filled with suspense, drama, plenty of secrets and questions that are not easily answered, I was intrigued and deeply invested in the story.
I love how this author pulled me into the lives of these characters instantly. The chemistry between Jax and Emma is instantaneous and believable. The heat factor is absolutely sizzling in its intensity. But the real heart of this story are the secrets that both the hero and heroine are keeping from each other even as they try to figure out exactly what happened in the past.
While Jax has a mind towards revenge, his attraction to Emma makes him hesitate with his initial plan to use her. It doesn’t take him long to want more from her and what began as a promise of just a one night stand is soon a desire for things he shouldn’t want with her. He quickly develops an urge to protect her from not only her past but with the threat that it currently represents.
”If taking over your life is the same as protecting you, we have a problem. Because I can’t be in your life and not protect you. I won’t say I will because I won’t.”
Emma’s life took a sudden dive after reading her father’s journal after his death. Faced with a den of vipers when she would rather be anywhere else, she finds a moment of solace with Jax. After a few encounters, she can’t deny that she wants what their bodies are clamoring for. But with his hatred for her family she struggles whether to trust him.
”How do I know what’s honest? How?”
“D—n it, woman,” he murmurs and then he’s tangling fingers into my hair and dragging my mouth to his, kissing me, a deep, drug me, tear me to pieces and put me back together again kiss that owns me. God, he owns me this easily and it’s terrifying. “Does that taste honest? Does that taste read, Emma?”
Both Jax and Emma have secrets that are revealed a bit to each other, some to the reader, and many more kept locked away until the perfect time. Nothing about this beginning feels contrived. In the true style of this author, the story builds one step at a time and grows with each scene, each sentence and each moment setting us up for what is a huge cliffhanger. Gah! Can you say, “Where is book 2?!”

Jax and Emma, there is a lot of mystery here, I so need the next book, but this book took me on all the twists and turns I didn't see coming. There is a big need to uncover everything. That cliffhanger is killing me in a good way. Besides this story is steamy, sexy and will keep you on edge the whole time. The secrets for both characters are so intriguing, keeping them from each other is making this story so good. A brilliant five stars!

I will take this one man!
I was intrigued at the beginning, and then as the story went on I was captivated. Emma & Jax have instant chemistry, but they have secrets between them & their families that they need to unravel. I loved that together, both Emma & Jax unravel each other. I was also pulled in emotionally with this story. This is Lisa Renee Jones at her best of intense & sexy storytelling, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book after that cliffhanger! I received a copy of this ebook from the author for my honest review.

This is the first book in what is going to be a phenomenal trilogy.
This is the story of Emma Knight and Jax North. Their families work together, but with deaths and secrets, they could actually be enemies.

Suspense from begging to end. Lisa sucks you in with the cat and mouse game of what Jax needs with Emma and the Knight family. Jax lays out the danger in the beginning, naming the players in this drama of corporate espionage, blackmail and so much more. The vulnerability in Emma draws you in and holding you captive. Her emotional struggles capture your heart. The weight of their secrets weighing them down, will have you eagerly begging for the reveal of each new clue.
Then there is the heat, I love how she describes it so vividly. You feel the electricity every time they look at each other. Their connection jumping off the page and into your imagination playing out each sensual caress and passionate kiss, fueling the movie in your head.
Danger surrounds them and everyone has an angle they have to figure out in order to find a way through the lies. Corporate rivals, dangerous ex-lover and family members with hidden agendas are what wait for you in this the first of three books.
With the end of this book set in a Castle by the sea and a cliff ending that will have you biting your nails and begging for September to get here faster. This is a book you can not miss, so grab a glass of wine and get ready for yet another suspense filled romance from Lisa Renee Jonse.

Lisa Renee Jones is a puppet master and she loves to pull my strings. She purposely makes me suspicious of characters, leading me to believe or assume certain things, knowing damn well she's still gonna surprise me in the end. I say this after only reading the first book and having no idea 'whodunnit', but I didn't just fall off the turnip truck, I did that much earlier and know better now. I know that she's gonna keep me riding on the edge, biting my nails, guessing and worrying the whole way...and loving every minute of the journey.
I really enjoy a mystery and having the secrets revealed one at a time really gets my heart pumping. And if that's not enough, the passion emanating from the characters is enough to have me participating in an ice bucket challenge. Just being inside their heads when they look at each other, knowing what they see and what they are thinking and what they want to do....
And did I mention how much I love it when characters from her other books make an appearance? If you are a fan, I'm sure you know who I'm talking about, right? You won't be disappointed.
The author took me on a whirlwind adventure showing me people and places and situations that had my head exploding with possibilities. I'm so intrigued and smitten, Jax has already won me over, secrets and all. He can keep them if he'll keep her...sigh. I cannot wait to get my hands on One Woman which is the next book in the Naked Trilogy. Maybe by then I'll have time to read all those delicious naked scenes again, a time or twenty. The line forms here...

One Man is breath-taking!!
One Man, the newest trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones, is yet another thrilling ride through the hot and steamy mind of this amazing author. From the first page to the mind-blowing cliffhanger, I was captivated by the deep connection that Jax and Emma shared. These two had never met before, but from the second that Emma slide into his booth to escape an event, they were being pulled together.
The book is full of hidden secrets and agendas, a douchey controlling ex and fathers who have left their children with unanswered questions.
Jax and Emma, although both coming from the same wealthy side of the tracks, are not meant to be. Their families are at odds. Jax should consider Emma an enemy but their attraction won’t allow him to see her that way.
Who’s controlling the strings in this mystery though? Jax and Emma seem to not have the whole picture. Is it her ex, her brother. Someone else?
Fast-paced and full of intrigue and steamy scenes, this book will leave you on the edge of your seat and desperate for more. Unfortunately, that more won’t be until September and there’s another book after that one. It’s gonna be a long summer waiting for the next book. Thanks, Lisa!!

4.5 stars One Man sucked me in right from the first page and kept me entertained until the very end. Set in a world of riches and opulence, this book is full of mistrust, secrets, hidden agendas, shady characters, and suspense and not to mention some hot in between the sheets action.
Jax North is a strong, sexy, determined male who is out for revenge - revenge against the Knight family who he believes had a hand in his brother’s apparent “suicide”. Emma Knight finds her life in complete upheaval after she reads her deceased father’s journal and discovers some unsavory things about her father. There is an intense attraction between Emma and Jax and they are both wondering if they can trust each other as they are holding onto their own secrets. You can truly witness the struggle that Emma has trusting Jax while knowing that he is hell bent on revenge towards her family. At the same time, Jax is grappling with his feelings towards Emma given his hatred for the Knights. One thing is for sure, these two have some explosive chemistry and they both have a desire to unravel what all has truly happened and who all the key players are.
Let’s talk about villains here. I always love a good villain and there are so many potential ones revealed in One Man. They are conniving puppeteers who thrive on manipulation, hoarding secrets, and conducting shady business dealings.
I love how this author weaves such an intricate story where she slowly reveals one secret only to give the reader more questions. She creates a hero and heroine that are strong, determined, and well-developed. There are no doormats in this book! This fast-paced novel was so entertaining that I could not put it down. I knew going into it that it would be a trilogy so you can imagine the doozy of a cliffhanger that the author left us with! I received One Man for free and I am counting down the days for the next book.

4.5 Secretive Stars!
Boy does this author really know how to takes us down some very twisted paths. One Man is the first of 3 books in the Naked Trilogy. It ends on a huge cliffhanger, so much happened and I'm left knowing very little by the end of this book.
The fact that I'm left guessing on so much has me itching for the next book. The more secretive everything is, the faster I want to read to unveil all the truths. The story line is extremely intriguing. I have no idea what part everyone is playing. Something big is being being hidden and I have NO clue what it is.
Despite all the hidden truths left to be uncovered, I never worry about the main couple with this author. I know they will be solid and I like that even if they don't completely trust each other at first, they always end up working together against the world. I love that!
I can't wait for book 2!

Can’t believe this is my first read by this author. I’m so looking forward to reading the rest of this trilogy. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long.
Jax is the owner of North Whiskey. Emma is one of the heirs to the Knight Hotel. Jax is determined to find answers he needs. Both have secrets.
Gah Jax and Emma are hot together. The chemistry is off the charts.
This is a great read. I’m even more interested in reading her previous books if this is anything to go by.
After that ending I’m waiting with baited breath for the next book in the series. So so good.

This book is so intense. It’s not a short book but the story flew by because I was so engrossed in the storyline. Chase himself is very intense. Emma is sweet but she’s hiding a dangerous secret. The chemistry between the two is nuclear. The writing is flawless and draws the reader in. I was immersed in the danger flowing all around Emma and Chase. I can’t wait for One Woman.

Right from the beginning I was pulled into this intense, suspenseful, and sexy read full of mystery and secrets. Jax North is looking for answers involving his brother's death and somehow Emma Knight's family may hold the key to them. Emma has secrets of her own that she does not want Jax to find out. She has recently discovered that her father is not who she thought he was. Somehow the two work. They understand the pain each is going through an want to figure out what is going on with their families. The attraction they feel for one another is fast and intense. Jax wants to protect her from not only her ex; who she seems to be afraid of but also other business associates of her family business who seem to want to manipulate her. This book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Not since the Inside Out Series have I read a story with a couple so intense as Chris and Sara. Jax is definitely giving Chris Merritt a run for his money. In true LRJ form Lisa has woven a story that will keep you guessing what will happen next. And of course she gives us little gems. Like the appearance of members of the Walker Security Team. In this story we get Savage, Seth and Blake Walker himself. Along with those gems we also get the mention of Eric and Grayson from some of her other wonderful books. And of course you can't have the first book in a trilogy end without a jaw dropping cliffhanger! Bravo Ms Jones! I can not wait to find out what happens next.
