Opening the Scroll
Over thirty years of study have been compiled for the common believer to study and learn. I have had the privilege of learning from some great men of faith and a father who served as a pastor for over sixty years. Mickey Bonner, Henry Blackaby, Dr. Dean Stockstill, and others opened the scripture and gave me some great nuggets of truth.
A few years ago I felt the Lord leading me to compile these teachings into a study guide for believers to use as a guide to the scriptures. I have taken the time to search also through some teaching web sites that could enhance the notes I used to preach from.
This teaching guide is the result of hours of study in the scriptures dealing with issues that many believers in todays culture face. Subjects like "You can't live on Old Smoke", or "R U a cracked pot" these will deal with the heart attitudes we need to have to find God using us.

About the Author

Randy felt the pull of the Holy Spirit to begin preaching for many years. From his early teen years, he knew that God was directing him to the ministry. But it wasn’t until early 1982 that he finally stopped running and surrendered. Over the next few years, Randy began working in the surrounding area, doing music and preaching on the weekends. His ministry began to grow and many lives were changed through the power of God. Over the next eighteen years Randy traveled through many states and situations, seeing God use him to reach people through music and teaching; although the road wasn’t always easy. There were some places where the ground was hard and unreceptive to any type of ministry. There were also times when the enemy came in like a flood and knocked him to the ground. In all of these situations, God has taken Randy through many personal battles where he has shown Himself faithful. Randy and Glynnis have chosen to return to the full-time ministry with a new fire for evangelism and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Today in Searcy, Arkansas they work within a local body to see the poor, broken, bruised, abandoned, restored and healed through the power of God’s ever-present love. They believe that God is using them to reach out to the unlovely and forgotten. Through a fellowship group with a focus on addiction and deliverance, God is moving upon many lives that would not usually enter a church building. Randy is still writing and composing music as well as novels, teaching material, and dramatic works. His novels speak to young adults with adventure and spiritual truth. He has also finished a humorous collection of short stories for young teens. “God is in the business of restoration. He desires the church to be in the same business. We are called to go to the poor, the widows, the orphans and the forgotten; just as Jesus did. If we fail to do this, we are failing to fulfill the call of God for the church of today. We must go. ” Randy and his wife, have continued working wherever God opens doors. Randy is attending Harding University with goals of eventually obtaining a major in Psychology with a minor in Family Ministry. He believes that this will allow him to provide the best to those that he ministers to. Randy feels strongly about the power of restoration. He has lived the life of the prodigal son. He has experienced the amazing grace of God and wants to tell others about this grace. Randy speaks to the struggles that many of us face daily.
