About the Author

Matthew P. Mayo�s novel, Tucker�s Reckoning, won the Western Writers of America�s Spur Award for Best Western Novel. He has also been a Spur Finalist and a Peacemaker Award Finalist in the Short Fiction category. His stories have appeared in dozens of anthologies, and his many novels include the Westerns Winters� War; Wrong Town; Dead Man�s Ranch; Tucker�s Reckoning; The Hunted; and others. Mayo has also written numerous novels under pen names for several popular series of adventure novels.
