Overview

Passion's Bright Fury by Radclyffe

When a trauma surgeon and a filmmaker become reluctant allies on the battleground between life and death, passion strikes without warning.

Saxon Sinclair, the broodingly secretive Chief of Trauma at a busy Manhattan hospital, is less than pleased to learn that her new resident is going to be the subject of a documentary film. The arrival of Jude Castle, a fiery independent filmmaker, soon sets sparks flying as the two driven women clash both personally and professionally.

Both have secrets they have spent a lifetime guarding, and both have chosen careers over love. Desire and destiny clash in this blazing romance.

Experiencing a traumatic event first hand can give you great insight. One woman - who has done just that - ¿invades¿ the territory of a hospital¿s only female Trauma Chief to film a documentary. Secretive and aloof, the surgeon insists on absolutely no personal questions, no personal information, even though the documentary is not focused on her. What is she trying to hide? And why? And why does the filmmaker get such a strong feeling of ¿de ja vu¿ every time she is around the surgeon? If the filmmaker learns what secrets the surgeon holds, will she use them against her? As time passes, and they begin to spend a great deal of time together, one undeniable fact comes to light - they are beginning to experience strong feelings for each other. Will they allow themselves to act on these feelings? Why can¿t they be around each other without wanting to rip each other¿s clothes off ¿ immediately! Radclyffe is a superb writer and continues to display that fact with a strong tale of life, love and death in the world of hospital trauma rooms.

i thought that the courage and strength that sinclare showed in the book was finominal. the way her ex treated her while she was in the suvice made me mad. to think that you have that kind of control over someone is wrong. to get over that experience and risk her heart for love is amazing.
