Rick Boon was born on the 29th of June 1986. He grew up in a village called Bradford Abbas, near Yeovil in Somerset. He attended the Gryphon School in Sherborne, before going to Yeovil College and the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham. He has two teenage sons called James and Tommy. He is also a lifelong supporter of Yeovil Town F.C.
